Photos from Whitehall Colmcille Darts Summer League's post 11/09/2025

Whitehall Colmcille GAA Club was the place to be as the Best Darts Summer League in Dublin concluded gor 2025. Some fantastic darts on show, some fantastic chorus line from the Phibsboro house also on show..some bulging pockets heading out the door at nights end, heading South of the Liffey but some staying on the best side.
The night started with a 3 way playoff for 2 seats at the grand(😉💶) dining table. The hungriest of the trio was Kyros who threw superb darts to qualify and leave it to a battle between Ger and Mossy for our 16th diner. It was far from a battle as Mossy turned into Mushy and headed to Ennis Corner to lick his wounds.
CUP LAST 16.
SEONA v GER
Top seed and in many eyes the favourite Seona would play Ger in a best of 5 but would only need the 3 legs, as an 83 average with 19, 18, 17 darters he would sit the Bully down.
LEWIS v PAULIE
Lewis and Paulie was also a one sided affair, with a similar scoreline, in fairness to Paulie he left at least 2000 excuses for Paddy to use....
PADDY v DEREK.
Paddy kindly pointed out my error in the preview on Monday that he was never a league teammate of Delboys (only for Dublin). Derek having left for pastures anew when Paddy signed for Swords, well 3 swipes of HerrManns Sword and Delboy was marking.
MISÉ v ROSS
Well what can I say but congratulations to Ross, the picture he painted was like Edvard Munch "The Scream" but that wad only his support crew. Having gone 2:1 down and dodged a match dart Roller would be the victor and advance paint another picture.
KILLIAN v ANDY
After both sunseekers decided that the sun didn't bleach Andys horses mane and that Killian took the sun better, both non Caucasians took to the oche...10 minutes later and another envelope was passed, this time Andy pocketed it, another 3:0 result.
DADO v ROBYN
Probably one of the hardest to call, Dado excelling every week that he bothered to turn up and Robyn a little off mainly due to B4 calls. A fantastic game that went all the way and saw Robyn over the line, Dado can be immensely proud of his run and will be a force in the league.
JOE v KYROS
Having watched the playoff Joe was impressed with Kyros darts and would get to see them up close in last 16. A 16 and 20 dart legs would put Kyros on the ledge, but amazingly he fought back to level it! A nervy last leg, a miss count, missed doubles and in a huge shock, it would be Joe marking!!!
TERRY v PAT
Terry quite sedately dressed down for the night played Pat, who was supported by Eamonn (ko'd in the shield 🙄) while the whole if Phibsboro only saw Terrys darts. Pat 1 leg up (like a dog pi***ng) would go 2:1 dn and have a great chance to make it to a 5th leg but missed his double. Terry marched on..
SHIELD UPDATE.
20 players with 4 prelims, some lads that would've fancied themselves to be at the top table, we're schooled in Ennis Corner, Andy Flood gave Pat a supporter when dispatching Eamonn (sure I won it before)! The biggest Loser Mossy very lucky to better Aido, Dani bowing out to Ray Ennis, congrats on the addition of to the app store Dani. Peter Ryan beating another shield champion when drowning out Andy. Alan Collins putting Philly into the corner. The quarter finals would see Kevin McGrail, Mossy, Ray Ennis and Phil advance at the respective wins over Peter, Migraine, Alan Collins and Jamie.
CUP QUARTERS
KYROS v PADDY
Kyros playing like his hero from the old country John Michael "Deadly Rose" and starting to look like him was too good for Germann who had absolutely no excuses🤣 for this defeat. Well done 🇬🇷 hard luck🇩🇪.
LEWIS v ROSS
A great 100 average 1st leg from Ross would be a wake up call for Lewis, and wake up he did to level it, then 2:1 down, with Ross going outside the lines with his brush and Lewis staying steady it would be the Phibsboro man to mark on a 3:2 loss.
TERRY v KILLIAN
Two class players and a really tough one to call, nervy opener went the way of Terry, then 2 legs traded in 15 darts, a 20 darter would see parity restored before Terry turned on the after burners and 18 darter would see a former champ bow out.
SEMI FINALS SHIELD
Kevin "I'll mark next week" McGrail took on the ex WHCC legend Razor and advanced, a current WHCC match up would see Mossy into a bit of dosh as he proved too good for Phil. Speaking of dosh....
ROLLOVER.
A MASSIVE €1125 IN THE KITTY WE WERE HOPING TO BE IN WITH A LONG NIGHT OF WINNERS. UP STEPPED ALAN TYRRELL TO DRAW THE NAME FROM THE DRUM AND THE FIRST LOSER OF THE NIGHT TURNED FROM A PUMPKIN INTO A PRINCESS! (YA KNOW WHAT I MEAN). THE BALL FROM THE DIP WAS 9. €375 PER TREBLE
DART 1 €375
DART 2 €375
DART 3 €375
CONGRATULATIONS MOSSY A BRILLIANT END (ONLY IT WASNT THE END) TO YOUR NIGHT.
CUP SEMI FINALS
SEONA v LEWIS
Both players playing great darts all night, the first leg was terrible a 23 dart slog to Lewis. Then the Vatican viper, enforced himself on proceedings, Reeling off the next 4 legs in 15, 17, 15 and 16 darts to reach his 1st WHITEHALL COLMCILLE DARTS SUMMER LEAGUE FINAL.
Who would be joing him???
KYROS v TERRY
A Phibsboro House final??? Kyros drinking the lager like it was going to run out took on Terry and well Kyros just kept marching on, some great scoring, very few treble less visits, clinical finishing allied with an iffy Terry performance resulted in a 4:0 win for the Whitehall man.
SHIELD FINAL
Pockets bulging and zipped closed like Scrooge. Mossy convinced himself that the seams wouldn't burst if another envelope was skived. Kevin on the other hand wasn't just happy not to be marking, but as the last man to lose he'll be marking the 1st game next summer league. A brilliant 2nd leg 14 darter would see Mossy crowned Shield Champion 2025 and as Eamonn would say "Wear it like a Millstone". 😀😂.
SUMMER LEAGUE FINAL.
With Kyros looking around and trying to believe that he IS in the final, we had Lewis to call our best of 9 final. Some brilliant scoring, Kyros storming into a 3:1 lead, but don't poke the bear!!! A step up in performance from Sean with a notable drop off from Kyros after a long and brilliant effort all night. Sean would reel off the next 4 legs and on a 5:3 scoreline our 2025 SUMMER LEAGUE CHAMPION IS SEAN MCKEON. A VERY POPULAR AND WORTHY WINNER.🙌🙌👏👏🎯. HIGHEST CHECKOUT went to Killian with a 120. League high checkout went to John Migraine. A special award was presented on the night, this will be a yearly memorial to a great man of Dublin darts, John Power who we lost a year ago. The award is to given to the person the Summer League committee feels that he plays the game the way JP did, with honestly, integrity and team and individual spirit. The recipient this year was Eamonn Redmond. Keep doing what you're doing Eamonn👏🙌.
THANKS AS ALWAYS TO JAMES AND THE BARSTAFF, YOU DO AN AMAZING JOB EVERY DARTS NIGHT. OUR SPONSORS .
Best of luck to all teams in the NCDL and hopefully see ye all next year for another brilliant Summer League!🎯🎯🎯. My finger is broken!!

Current confirmed match ups for Wednesday night. A 3 way playoff needed to get the opposition for our top seed Sean Mckeon and Joe. Playoff will be 1001, between Ger Scully, Cian Mossy Fitzpatrick and Kyros Stavrianos

Photos from Whitehall Colmcille Darts Summer League's post 04/09/2025

The final qualifying week was played out last night in The Best Darts Summer League in Dublin in Whitehall Colmcille GAA Club and just as in week 1 we had a huge turnout of 36 of players👏👏👏. Some having their fate and faith in their own hands🙏, others sunning themselves and praying to their God that a miracle may happen but, alas timing your jollies should be run by the WHCC Darts committee 😬😬.
Well onto the arrows and 4 prelims needed and early exits to DoC beaten by teammate Jon, Phil sent Philly home early (apparently it suited Philly), The Masterbater rediscovered his week 1 form and outlasted Dave o Donnell, Danillieee sent misé to the mic with a 94 average👊.
LAST 32
A clash of the ages saw Pat give last weeks winner Terry a refresher on the tablet, Seona ensured Adam of his 1 point for attendance, Ger complaining like Elsie Tanner was still too good for Brian Colgan. Mossy welcomed Sam Clarke back to the Hall with a 2:0 win. Two Whitehall lads needing the points had a nervy game and it would be Jamie heading for the 🛡 while Phil went hunting for bigger points💪. Two of the form players atm and both of them not short of class either had a great battle, and Rolls Royce would down Dado, both men safely into the last 16. Fresh back from wreaking havoc in Portugal Germann ensured Andy Flood a place in next weeks Shield. Armando took up the Croat cause when beating Mikey, Dani beat his Captain John Migraine 🤣, Robyn was too good for top lad Alan Collins. Kyros, another in need of points did himself no harm in bettering Peter Ryan, who would be back later. Lewis condemned Eamonn to the Shield, at least he knows how to win that!! Ray Ennis burst Jon Hoban bubble, Paulie would be too good for JP, btw did you pay your entry yet Paulie? Delboy can count himself very lucky to get by Steven Dunne, and rounding off the last 16 would be Joe who I'd like to say sent Kevin McGrail to mark, but he probably got someone else to do it!
Last 16
Drinking the Guinness like it was water the Vaticans latest alcoholic Seona creamed all over the Masterbater, Mossy and Ger left their friendship at home and in a great game it would be Mossy going into the last 8. Phil fighting for every point and pint sent the Paint Roller back to the film studio. Paddy Mannaged to send Armando to the tablet, Robyn throwing darts for the 8th day this week averaged 94 when beating Danillieee. Lewis was too good for Kyros, who would spend the rest of the night doing sums to see if he did enough to qualify for top 16. Paulie would confirm Ray Ennis would be playing in Ray Ennis corner next week and finally in a shock of seismic proportions Joe would not be in the last 8 as Jackos Nephew was on form.
ROLLOVER
Tickets flew out all night some lads doubling up on them, with €220 per treble💶💶💶💶. The name drawn out by Ella, was the sound as a pound Peter Ryan!! Peter dipped into the balls and pulled out number 1.. I would love to say he didnt give the committee a scare....but 3 great efforts later and the coffers swallowed a crisp €20, well done Peter, should be a nice kitty for Dani oul lad next week!!
Last 8
Two former Dublin minors and both pizza eating champs back in the day, Seona would send Mossy to help Kyros with the maths. Paddy the Gerry did Phil no favours and the candle finally blew out on Phils cup ambitions. A cracking game between Lewis and Robyn would see the former advance 👏. Paulie (I'll pay ya later) would send the giant killer Delboy out.
Semi Finals
Some nosebleeds here this week and both of them would bleed out, Paddy said the floor was uneven, the board too close, the light too bright, the darts crooked, while Sean scored 1503 and Paddy said well done. Lewis would beat Paulie 3 nil and lent him a tenner so he could pay his entry.
FINAL
Without going back through the records I'm almost certain this is a repeat of a previous final, a clash of Titans and the man of the moment and yet to be confirmed, leading qualifier Seona, would be too clinical for Lewis, winner on a 3:0 scoreline 🙌🙌. Congratulations Seona hard luck Lewis 👏thanks to Robyn for calling the final. High checkout went to Dani with a 116. Yet to be confirmed but it looks like we will have a 3 way playoff next week for 2 places in last 16. Massive thanks to the players who turned up in huge numbers from week 1, to James and Ella 🙌👏. Our sponsors .
WHITEHALL COLMCILLE VAULT STARTS NEXT MONDAY SO GET YOUR ENTRIES IN EARLY AS THIS WILL FILL UP QUICKLY.
SEE YE ALL NEXT WEEK FOR WHAT PROMISES TO BE A GREAT FINALE IN THE HOME OF DUBLIN DARTS!🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯

21/08/2025

Another great night of darts in The Best Darts Summer League in Dublin was witnessed last night in Whitehall Colmcille GAA Club. Hovering on 31 players in sauntered Ray Ennis to give us the magical 32 and a straight draw, something that doesn't happen with the Rollover "allegedly"..
Last 32
With the corn reaped and the babysitting duties delegated we welcomed Delboy back into the arms of the hall but alas not for long with Andy Flood ing the fields and giving next years crop a drowning. Killian returned after a weeks break and stuck around when beating last weeks success story Jamie. Mossy rocking the perm and the Spanish tan-lines also returned with a great win over Peters son Ross, early night for the paint Roller despite an 81 average. Johnny Mac, sorry Moany Mac saw off the ladies choice DoC in a canter. Early arrival in the Hall which is what ya can expect from Aer Lingus and seeing off Jon, Eamonn went on to a last 16 match ( finally). Bully, giving up his usual Wednesday night date with Joe had to settle for The Rooster and this combination saw Bully advance. Another returnee after a weeks break from watching Oasis in Murrayfield, Paulie would As Some Might Say be blown away by the Champagne Supernova that is Seona. Shels top man Alan Collins would practically guarantee Phil a shot at the Shield in a couple of weeks. Aido who is on the cusp of the Top 16 and is missing the next 2 Wednesdays needed a good night and started off on the right foot when ousting Armando with a tidy 81 average. Last weeks hero and taking the fashion comments to heart a dressed down Terry would cream the Masterbater in 3 legs. Ray Ennis sent AK47 to the waiting lounge in Dublin Airport early for his flight to Madrid. Standing in for Ger on his date night with Joe was myself and the result was......yup PF marking. Kyros also needing to tick points on the board was too good for JP. In what could probably be described as a major shock, if it wasn't played out on B4 was Ross' Da beating Robyn 2:0, great win Peter... Lewis and Danillieee a match made in heaven and it would be Lewis to bow out with Dani averaging 91, but Lewis would be back later. In the tie of the round, Adam would take on Liza, both vying for victory. Liza taking the initiative only for Adam to hit back to make it 1 a piece...tension aplenty and Moany in the background, missed doubles everywhere and tension...after 49 darts it would be Adam doing somersaults into the last 16. Getting there Liza💪💪
Last 16
Killian scoring great and Mossy a bit rusty like Matty curled up like his do and bowed out to Magic Mouth. Johnny Mac would send Eamonn to the Airport to ensure AK47 needs were looked after. Seona did a bit of a durty on Ger winning 2-1, Ger sitting on 8 and checking who hes playing in next round, when Seona does Seona things and 115 goes out, 20, T19 D19🙌, unlucky Ger. Aido bagging the points, but will it be enough with missing the final 2 qualifying weeks took out Alan. Adam still dizzy from somersaults and cartwheels couldn't stem the Flood of Andy. Terry, showing at last his class from last week took no mercy on Razor. Like a hot knife through butter Joe was smooth in sitting Kyros down. The Best Ryan on show, Peter was unlucky to bow out to Pizzaland Dani to complete our quarter final lineups.
ROLLOVER
Rollover or roll-up!! Twas like Lewis was the Pied-Piper when his name was drawn out by Fitzer....after the customary 9 practice darts Lewis was asked what number he'd prefer, "16" was the answer, he drew 8!!! Oh no, said the committee, with €240 per treble we feared the worst..
Dart 1 T16
Dart 2 T16 (blocker)
Dart 3 S16, Phew, hard luck Lewis but a nice €20 for your effort.
Quarter finals
Some familiar names and some lads hitting the heights. A ding d**g battle would see Moany back down bending Liza's ear and "but what if" hes as good/bad as Paddy Mann for the excuses!!! Killian beating John. Aido finally met his better in Seona, but he can only hope and pray for a good network connection for his online match next week, can't believe Paddy didn't avail of this facility. Andy throwing darts thru the board beat Terry in a very good game. Joe averaging his age (94) sent Dani to the tablet.
Semifinals
A brilliant game by both players would see it go all the way, with Donna hitting the winning treble, Sean would have time to reflect on what if....Meanwhile serial semifinal and final participant Joe would make another final appearance downing Andy.
Final
I had to look back on the records and couldn't believe Joe hasn't won a weekly final this year and unfortunately that stat would last at least one more week. In a great final that went all the way, Mighty Mouth would be our week 10 winner (his 4th). Congratulations Killian and hard luck Joe, a nice €64 consolation for Joe with the high checkout of 120..Till next week, keep praying Aido, and keep practicing the lot of ye!!
Thanks to our Sponsors . Table to follow!!!

Another scorching day and darts to match. Whitehall Colmcille GAA Club was the place to be to witness a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis (what type of butterfly has yet to be classed). Week 9 of The Best Darts Summer League in Dublin and with 29 caterpillars vying to get their wings it would mean 3 byes and no prelims... On to the darts,
Last 32
First out of the hat and rocking the hair locks was my cap don't fit anymore Jon Hoban who drew 50,000,000 excuses HerrMann, and it would leave paddy with 50,000,000 excuses left as he luckily won on a 2-1 scoreline, Paddy would soon only have 50,000,999 excuses left...Whitehall Phil another last 16 entry as Shels top fan Alan Collins went dn but he is not far off a run on these nights. A match made in heaven or at least the Airport would leave a broken hearted Eamonn wishing Pat the best in his future life, but then again breaking up is so worth the making up as someone once sang. Adam was left on his steady 1pt and if he turns up for every week he'll have 13, that 2 pointer was well warned, Peter Ryan sitting Adam down. In a match that didn't show what was to come Dado beat Liza who is improving every week and would probably be better off if John stayed at home (moan, moan, moan) 🤣🤣. Joining Liza on the sidelines was the brudder-in-law Kevin, although his sideline was the Village Inn as he legged it albeit with a marker secured, beaten by said marker myself. Robyn fresh from Galway victory would be too good for Kyros who is showing a return to form as witnessed by his Monday night vault results. Jamie who would have a great run dispatched JP, who is a 💯 attendee. Terry Meehan wearing the top half of a cut dn summer dress was very good when making it a hattrick of McGrail exits as John joined Liza to complain 😅. Mikey, improving every week put in a great effort but missed doubles would see Philly advance. Joe, a bit rusty beat Debbie who threw great and with a better draw she could've won, average of 46 didn't do her darts justice. Ger who was practicing all day and I saw his stats, brought them to the board as Aido notched up an appearance point.
LAST 16
In a repeat of a match from last week England would win the War again as the Germann left himself in the bunker having taken 2 shots at Lewis and lost. The Masterbater, having told Eamonn the defeat he inflicted on him wouldn't be in vain, duly proved it with a battling win over Phil. Dado turning it on (93.94) was too much for Peter, who was practically a witness to the exhibition put on by Dado👏👏🙌. Robyn would end my night although my 102 attempt only riled Robyn, 20 d16 and a bull miss (single 12) I think😁. Jamie soldiered to a win over Armando in a Whitehall battle. Radar Meehan sat Philly down who needed a spec savers appointment due to Terrys "tattoo'...Where is Seona? Finally getting to throw due to having a boy😊, he arrived to the oche and it would be Razor who was the unlucky loser. In probably one of the most drawn pairings (early rounds) between Ger and Joe it would be the latter to complete our quarter final lineups, but before that we had
THE ROLLOVER
With a €600 jackpot, the maths are easy to do as per treble. The kitty got a big hit last week and we decided (fixed) it so as we'd have no winner this week. Up stepped our brilliant bar manager James and out comes the ticket and Jamie is the one. Fix done😁. Jamie was unlucky and as all non winners do he got his €100 in a brown envelope. Well done Jamie..🤣🤣.
Last 8
With the standard rising like the temperature it would prove too hot in the kitchen for Pat as the heartstrings were pulled, love ran it's course as Lewis reunited the happy couple 🤩🤩❤️. Dado on the up and up as a rail is took care of business and Byrned Robyn. Shower curtain top was slinging darts like boomerangs and sat Jamie down, good run Jamie. Would Joe join Robyn at the stake???? Nope, riding his luck and sticking strong, he would be too good for Seona.
SEMI FINALS
In a brilliantly tense semi final, Dado held his own rail and had more than 4 match darts to defeat Lewis, but it was not to be Dado out by the odd leg in 5, a great night all the same for him. Well the ages combined in semifinal 1 was 57, in semi final 2 it was 127, just shows that darts is for all ages. As in the first semifinal it would be the younger man that would prevail, Terry dominant in a 3-1 win, hard luck Joe.
FINAL
Well, with probably one of the best displays ever seen in the Hall, especially in a final, it would be a brilliant 3-0 win and a massive (98.02) to Lewis (85.50) for say yes to the dress Terry. Fantastic Terry, hard luck Lewis, a nice consolation for Lewis was me remembering that he won the highest checkout and €58 to win it 2 weeks running👏👏.
Thanks as always to James and Gavin, and our sponsors . Table to follow...

07/08/2025

Week #8 of 12 qualifiers was played out last night in Whitehall Colmcille GAA Club where The Best Darts Summer League in Dublin is based. Apologies for no report last week and congratulations to Seona on a great win, I dont think it will be too long before I'll be congratulating him again😉..
So let's get straight into the thick of the action...with 36 tungsten terrors in attendance it would require 4 prelims to sort some wheat from the chaff.
Last 64
With the draw throwing up a trilogy of sorts, pitting the Table topper Magic Feet against yours truly, and Killian holding a 💯 record from two s/f wins, everyone feared for the underdog..but every dog has its day and it would be PF advancing courtesy of some missed doubles by Motor Lips.💪💪. In a clash of Phils it would be Talbot squashing Murphy in a close encounter. Kevin "Rollover me hole" McGrail shudda told the taxi man to wait as he was out the gate beaten by one of Swords finest hands The Masterbater. A welcome return to Sam Clarke from everyone except zee Geermann who sent Sam to the tablet counter.
Last 32
With home advantage, playing in Ennis Corner Ray would advance to last 16, with a bit of luck in beating PF in an excellent game. Aido, showing great form after a good run last week sent Jon Hoban packing comfortably. In a Clash of The Titans, poor Terry, who just can't put a run together, bowed out to Joe, Terry missing match darts too. Limpy Collie, was left legless as Mikey McLoughlin took both in a great win for the kiddo🦵🦵🫡. Philly staked another win by beating Alan Collins, who was more interested in his beloved Shels and wasn't too disappointed in defeat. Birthday boy Dado was on form when stuffing Huggy Bear in a tight match. Pat's mate Eamonn scored well at crucial times to show Ross whos Boss, thanks for the Pizza slice Ross😋. Seona sent Da to Son when Peter succumbed to the European Champion. AK47 looking resplendent in his Summer collection of shirts mastered Pat in a game that could've went the other way...Last in the house Armando sent JP back to the bar where he assumed Adam would be joining him any minute. But Adam had other ideas and in the performance of his life in The Hall he somersaulted and cartwheeled into the last 16, even doing Shooter McGavin pistols, DoC was his victim. In a mini shock we had Brian Colgan Reeling back the years to better Iceman Niall with both low 70s average, great win BC. Jamie with a tough, on paper draw versus Chris Kavanagh had no trouble in reaching the next round. In a war of the past it would be Mighty Blighty Lewis who outgunned Herr Mann the German 2:0. Robyn was another victim of Board 4 when Legoland pieced together 2 good legs to progress to L16. Finally in a ding-d**g contest between Bell teammates Dani would drown out Andy Flood.
Last 16
Ray Ennis luck finally ran out, well it's hard to climb two mountains in one night, Ray going out to an in form Aido. Joe after his scare had little trouble in beating a rabbit in the headlights Mikey, who can be proud of the progress he is making for a young lad👏👏. A tough battle for the Birthday boy against Philly, a battle he was up for and Dado won in a 3 leg match. With Pat urging Eamonn on in his game v Seona and Eamonn getting an 18 dart leg to level, it would be Seona in 17 darts to reach last 8. Pat also won as he had Eamonn back beside him 🤩🤩. AK47, not firing on all cylinders still had enough bullets to dn the Croatian Assassin Armando. Brian Colgan couldn't muster another strong performance going down to a resolute Jamie. Still doing the circus tricks Adam would shortly be doing tablet duties, as Mighty Blighty was too strong. Still have Adam up there as performance of the night, especially the Shooter McGavin pistols showing. Paulie couldn't get another Bell rung as Danillieee was the victor in a tight game.
ROLLOVER
With the kitty taking a hit the last 2 weeks, the Committee prayed for Will to be picked out, but alas it wasn't to be as, written in brail by DoC, and checked and confirmed by 3 others, the name out was Robyn...OHH BOLLOX SAID THE COMMITTEE. 9 practice darts and the Ball picked out was number 15..
1st dart BANG!! TREBLE 15, OH HOLY F**K SAID THE HOUSE! Dart 2 miss also Dart 3 miss. PHEW SAID THE COMMUNITY. Congratulations Robyn a nice €280 for your efforts.
Last 8
Aido playing Joe is usually an easy pick, but Aido has been getting better as the night went on, but although averaging 80, it would be Joe going into yet another semi final, the man is a machine. Seona blew out the candles on Dado birthday cake and was oh so lucky in winning, but thems the breaks. A good night for He Ain't Heavey, Jamie ended at the barrels of AK47. Dani 93.72!!! LOST TO/BEATEN BY Lewis, wow!!
Semi Finals
3 Bells and a Phib, in semi final one Seona was missing nothing not even his pizza, and sent the serial semi finalist Joe to the benches to wait for the final. Joining Seona would be Lewis who had a fantastic battle with Andy Kennedy who can count himself unlucky not to make a debut final, great night for you Andy, hope the Shirts sell well..
FINAL
Another fantastic final between these two giants and winning the Bull would prove decisive as every leg went with throw..Did I say it wouldn't be long before I'd be congratulating Seona again...
Congratulations Seona, hard luck Blighty. Highest checkout went to Lewis with 119. League table to follow, pics too if someone (Robyn) will send them on.
Massive thanks to our Sponsors . Thanks to James and Jack behind the bar and to ye all, the players🎯🎯. Till next week!!

Week 6 qualifier was played out last night in The Best Darts Summer League in Whitehall Colmcille GAA Club and it was like Toy Story with'Lots 'O Huggin Bear' making his return from the mines in Perth, and an inspirational return it was for one person. With 38 little soldiers in the play room it would take 6 playoffs to see who would form the platoon.
Last 64
In a cracking duel Mr Potato Head Seona would be grateful to advance at the expense of Craig Kavanagh who threw brilliant darts. Italian stallion Dani sent Aido to the tablet, and in from Donegal and sent packing in a great game by Ken Talbot, Donegal Mick was sent back to the hills. Taylor creamed Kevin Whelan who cane in from Canada to play here. Paddy Mannaged the Masterbater who's bus journey lasted longer than his playing and marking game and completing the last 32 line-up was Armando when downing DoC.
Last 32
Potato Head took out Jon Hoban who threw decent darts. AK47 was impressive in avoiding a Lots 'O Huggin Bear trap. Family ties don't matter to Ross as he showed Dad who's boss, welcome to the Hall Peter. Mikey McLoughlin send Barbie Delboy home to the babysitting duties. Kyros unable to carry his Monday vault form to Wednesday was downed by Pizzaland, while Mossy choked as if Taylor had a grip on him, when losing to Motor Hands. My tip for a good run was Robyn and on she marched beating Ken with the minimum of fuss. My other tip for a run fell at his 1st hurdle beaten by McGrail senior. Ger playing great would mop up Taylor, and yours truly played a shocker to be beaten by Mighty Joe. Legohead Paulie sent JP back to Adam for pints and craic. Rex Lewis roared past Brian Colgan and Rooster had his chances to beat Ray Ennis but couldn't take them. Phil still trying to get a good run fell to HerrMann and Jamie would beat Debbie. Mr 1pt a night Adam didn't disappoint and would join JP at the bar beaten by Armando.
Last 16
Spud head shot down AK47 both averaging around the 80 mark👏👏. Ross would boss Mikey into submission and in a brilliant game Dani (88.98) beat serial finalist and winner Killian (85.53) by the odd leg. Robyn marched imperiously on beating Kevin McGrail in another great match. Bully would shatter Legohead who got some amazing hugs from the 🐻. Plenty of quality match ups with Lewis bettering Ray Ennis in another one. Paddy would heave Jamie aside and completing the last 8 would be Mighty Joe at the expense of Armando.
ROLLOVER
AT A MASSIVE €350 PER TREBLE, WE HAD THE LOVELY STEPH COME UP AND DROP THE HAND....ONE TICKET LATER AND THE SADDEST DARTER TURNED INTO THE HAPPIEST DARTER AS THE NAME PICED OUT WAS CIAN FITZPATRICK.
EVERYONE GROANED, EVEN DELBOY WHO HAD LEFT BEFORE THE 9PM CURFEW.
9 PRACTICE DARTS LATER AND MOSSY DROPPED THE 🫳. HIS BALL WAS A 4... 🥁 ROLL AND 1ST DART....MISS 2ND DART RED 🚨 ⚠️ 📢 TREBLE 4!!!!! 3RD DART MISS!! WELL DONE CIAN!!👏💪💶💶💶.
LAST 8
Seona on fire and Ross putting it up to him but Prataí ceann would be into another semi final. With the mascot Lotso in fine fettle it was enough to inspire Robyn (87.29) who beat Danillieee (84.15) in 3 🦵s. Bully slinked to a strange loss averaging 90 he was chewed up by Lewis.. Keeping it in the family Joe would join the party when beating HerrMann.
Semi Finals
Not her best average of the night but Robyn would mash, chip and boil Potato Head to reah her 1st final in this years League. Would it be the Da or the squeeze to join her .....well in a game that went all the way it would be a Ken and Barbie final.
FINAL
Well what can ya say, 180s matched 180s😮😮,140s, 135s, even a ton would lose you ground. Robyn with a 13 darter would win the next 2 also and our week 6 Champion would be (my tip) Robyn who feared the worse as Will was on the way!!! High checkout also went to Robyn with a 112. All at Whitehall wish Robyn the best of luck in the Womens World Matchplay in Blackpool on Sunday (c13:30) on Skysports. Congratulations Robyn and hard luck Lewis.
Usual shout outs to Ray, Matty (final caller) the barstaff, James and Sean our sponsors Tiling.
But massive thanks to the players who make this what it is, The Best Darts Summer League in Dublin.
