We kicked off our pre-season games with our B team facing off against newly set up Rathcoole F.C over 35's.

The game started off at a high pace, with DCT taking the lead through excellent work on the left from full back, through midfield and finished off by Billy with a cracking left foot that took the keeper by surprise. Our second came from a long range effort from 30 yards, Kevin Doyle catching the keeper asleep and lobbing him into the far post. DCT kept the pressure on, Mick Quinn took a wild cross from the wing, nutmegged the defender and finished a lovely individual effort in the bottom corner. A great half was rounded off with our 4th goal, Kevin Murphy broke the line in midfield, played a through ball to Blaney to round the goal keeper with an easy finish.

The second half Rathcoole came out more physical to disrupt our passing game.
We had a few chances to increase our lead through John Morgan and John Malone before a good break from Rathcoole resulted in a penalty that was converted.
We soon added our 5th of the day from Ash Hayder after good work and a fine cross from John Malone. We continued to press missing some chances.

A good start to our pre-season and run out from the lads. Best of luck to Rathcoole Football Club in the coming season.
