In case you're new around here and are wondering who Frontline Bikes are and what we do:

Frontline Bikes was established as a social enterprise in 2020 by Frontline Make Change - a community organisation that provides addiction support in the local area.

It was set up after a need was identified for clients with a background of long-term unemployment, addiction or imprisonment - they faced difficulty in obtaining employment, as employers are less likely to provide employment opportunities to people with backgrounds such as these and this can lead to the individuals falling back into a cycle of addiction relapse and recidivism.

Frontline Bikes began with a retail outlet in Inchicore. This provided an opportunity for people in recovery to gain retail experience in bike mechanics and customer service.

Frontline Bikes expanded in 2022 with the opening of a Training & Upcycling Centre in Bluebell, where certified training in Cycle Mechanics is provided and where donated bikes are upcycled for sale in our shop.

Frontline Bikes now employs 6 people and provides training in cycle mechanics for many more.

Upcycled by the team in our Training & Upcycling Centre in Bluebell and available now in our shop in Inchicore.
