We had a great class tonight after our exams last week.
* Phase one basic stance with the stick
* The beginning of the phase two stance with bounce
* Phase one Witek and Labtek striking
* Phase two double diagonal Labtek striking
* Phase one stick roof block
* Phase two stick wrist lock from lock sets
* Phase one knife vs knife fillet Quick Kill
* Phase two knife vs knife check feed to hook
* Phase one vital series knife tapping
* Phase two vital series knife tapping

Classes are each Monday from 9-10pm and cost €10 each. Beginners are always welcome, both those new to martial arts as wall as these with experience who would like to add weapons training to their skillset.

We would like to say a big congratulations to the following students who passed their exams tonight for Phase 1 of the Blood and Bones Tactical Kali stick material.

All four students are now recognised as assistant instructors for the Phase 1 stick material. Sean and David are already assistant instructors in Phase 1 blade material.

We would also like to congratulate Sean Coogan on being awarded his certificate for Section B of the phase 1 stick material.

All five students have been working very hard over the last few months specifically but in general they have put the work in each week over the last few years.

It wasn't an easy exam and was an intense 2 hours and 20 minutes but the lads have gotten out of Kali what they have put in.

A big thanks to the founder and head instructor of Blood and Bones Tactical International, G**o Nate Hill for all his support.

We took a break tonight from exam preparation and had a bit of fun with the single stick, single knife and the relationship between them.

Good BBT Kali class tonight. While the boys revised the stick syllabus for upcoming exams, the girls worked on some stick vs stick, knife vs knife and empty hands vs knife.

Good BBT Kali class last night. Worked on basic Witek striking and we trained how not to telegraph our strikes. We also worked on empty hand defence vs sticks.

Classes are every Monday at 7.30pm and beginners are always welcome. Classes are €10 each and the 1st class is free.

It's been a while since we have posted anything on Facebook but we have been busy, training BBT Kali each week. Tonight we continued working on Section B of the Phase 1 stick syllabus.

Damien started training with us at G**o Nate Hill 's seminar in August 2022. David since 2019. Sean and Liam shortly after.

The guys were examined from 7.30 - 10.30pm this evening, three hours of non stop assessment. They were assessed on the specific syllabus that they have been working on and have demonstrated that they are very comfortable with the material.

A big shout out to G**o Nate Hill, the founder and head of Blood and Bones Tactical International for all his support.

We are finished now for Christmas and the new year. We are back on Monday the 8th of January where we will focus on Section B of the phase 1 stick material as well as blade material. Beginners are always welcome. In the meantime, have a very happy Christmas.

Great class tonight. Examinations are only a few weeks away so we are spending a lot of time on revision and polishing.

We are making a slight change to our timetable. Classes will now take place from 7.30-8.30pm on Monday nights in Dunboyne instead of our previous 7pm start time.

Beginners are always welcome, classes are €10 each and the first class is free.
