What a win for the girls yesterday a brilliant game of football was had well done girls we keep going ⚽️thanks to st Patrick’s fc for the game ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️

RANT incoming 😡😡😡Our leauge started yesterday 10/03/2024 our first game of the season v terenure ladies kick off 2 pm ⚽️ we arrange for our girls to meet around 1 o’clock to get warm ups done before kick off⚽️ as everyone knows it rained all night and all day yesterday now as a manager I knew our game would be called off 4 games where already called off yesterday ⚽️ but because our ref was reffing other games yesterday morning he wouldn’t be arriving until 2pm kick off⚽️ here’s the thing we where the only teams left in bushy park cos all games where called off so my girls had to travel from all across Ireland ie swords clongriffin Coolock and beyond some of them getting 2 buses to get there plus it was Mother’s Day they had better things to do like been with there mothers and enjoying the day ⚽️ to me the ref should have been there 1 hour before the game to inspect the pitch it would have been called off there for i could have told my girls before they travel for the game it was off absolute no disregard for my players wellfare and well been ⚽️if we had played one of them would of ended up in hospital it’s just not good enough in this day an age where womens football is at the forefront of everything at the moment do better FAI Women Ewfl FAIreland oh and yes the ref did turn up at 2 10pm walked onto the pitch game off girls what we already knew and ill have me fee just like that ⚽️ it’s not good enough if this is the Leauge under the LOI Women league it’s an absolute joke rant over do better everyone
