Young footballers…. one bit of advice from an old guy that’s been round the block a few times. Don’t chase the steps let the steps chase you! So many of you out there desperate to play that extra level, it which will cost you long term .sitting on a bench getting splinters losing your real friends and connections be careful ⚽️

Despite having every conceivable tv package I very rarely watch football now , the modern game bores me senseless, everything about it, the fans /barstoollers add VAR, the media's presentation of the game all rubbish

Im 50 …. never have i ever felt such a disconnect from football.. I used to look forward to training and games.. .. now im not even bothered.
