I’m EXCITED and very proud to announce that CB GRAN CANARIA AND THE NORTH ATLANTIC BASKETBALL ACADEMY STRENGTHEN TIES- BOTH ENTITIES REACH A COLLABORATION AGREEMENT FOR JOINT WORK IN THE FUTURE. The Gran Canaria Basketball Club and the North Atlantic Basketball Academy have reached an agreement to establish a collaboration that allows the use and exchange of the resources of both entities. This collaboration agreement seeks to strengthen ties between both institutions, creating a continuous synergy that allows mutual nourishment and that does not stop only in the training of players, but also of coaches, and in the future holding of joint events. All of the management team are hyped about this new partnership with one of Europes powerhouse clubs @grancanariacb - I personally would like to take this opportunity to thank the senior management team and staff at @grancanariacb for having the confidence to move forward with @naba.academy @naba.international for what we believe will be of mutual benefit- having our recruits working in front of the watchful eye of such a long established elite club like @grancanariacb is putting our best in the shop window like no other academy in Europe- as we endeavour to offer our players and young coaches the best opportunities internationally we will continue to strive to be the best we can and offer a range of developing opportunities like no other while doing it #thenabaway 06/07/2024

NABA Ireland are delighted to welcome Coach Adam Alarcon From the giant of Spanish basketball Dreamland Gran Canaria basketball club @grancanariacb to run the Gran Canaria try outs Hosted @nabaireland head quarters in St Declans College CAbra Dublin 7 A Coach with experience in top clubs in Spain, such as Juventud de Badalona, Canterbury School and currently Gran Canaria, Coach Adam will lead the Irish try outs as he seeks to recruit the next generation of talent from the Irish and UK market. He will lead the team of NABA coaches from @naba.academy @naba.international on the day and use his experience to identify talented players on the day. Gran Canaria have announced they will be travelling to dublin to host an Elite Talent Identification Trial this July.

Gran Canaria will bring its own coaching staff to host these identification sessions, they will put the players through a 3 hour practice session that will allow players to showcase their talents. Gran Canaria compete in some of the highest levels of senior basketball in Europe such as the ACB (Liga Endesa) and the Euro Cup.

Gran Canaria will be recruiting players born between the years of 2013 up to 2005 born players. This is available for both Girls and Boys.

Players are encouraged to register early as demand for places is anticipated to be high

📍 St Declans College, Cabra, Dublin 7

€25 for 1 day session (20 spots Available)
€40 for 2 day session (20 spots Available)
