We’re delighted to have recently completed a 5-week Coerver Coaching schools programme at St Audoen’s National School, Dublin 8, sponsored by RKD.

Delivered in conjunction with the DDSL Grassroots, with fantastic support from local club Oliver Bond Celtic FC, the programme gave pupils the opportunity to develop their football skills, build confidence and enjoy being active.

A key aim of the initiative is to bridge the gap between primary schools and local grassroots football clubs, helping more children discover opportunities to continue playing sport in their own community.

By connecting schools, clubs and supportive local businesses, we can help make football more accessible and create pathways for children to get involved and enjoy the many benefits of grassroots sport.

A huge thank you to RKD for sponsoring the programme, making all of this possible.

The art of the first touch isn't just about keeping the ball glued to your feet—it's about touch speed, touch direction and being able to understand what is around you to take the appropriate touch in the correct direction with the correct weight.

Alf and Jimmy Galustian break down why Busquets stands as the masterclass example for every grassroots player.

By prioritizing ball mastery, players develop the unconscious ability to be able to execute whatever type of touch they deem necessary for the situation that they're in.

Coach Tomo going over the details of the outside twist-off at our Maynooth Town Academy 💯

The twist-off is an excellent skill for changing direction whilst protecting and hiding the ball from the opponent by creating distance between the ball and the defender.

When performed well and with speed, it’s very difficult for the defender to get near the ball.

COERVER COACHING LEINSTER - PASSING & RECEIVING CLINIC

Coerver® Coaching Leinster comes to Stepaside this October mid-term break running a technical clinic focused on passing and receiving which will cover touch speed, touch direction, scanning, combinations, and speed of play.

This clinic is designed for players looking to develop their technical foundation and get extra technical work in, outside of team training and games.

Sessions are led by our professional coaches and follows the world-renowned Coerver Coaching methodology, a curriculum used by elite clubs and player development programs internationally across 50+ countries.

Location: DLR All-Weather Stepaside

Date/Time: 29th October - 30th October - 10am-1pm

Who it's for: Boys and Girls Ages 7-14 yrs

Cost: €60. Sibling Discounts Apply. Price includes Adidas football RRP €20.
