Some great shots from this weekend’s Fingal Cruiser Challenge race to Rockabill and back ☀🌊

At approximately 28 nautical miles, it’s one of the longest races in the series, and this year’s conditions were unlike anything many sailors had seen before, with boats passing remarkably close to the islands.

The race marked the halfway point of the challenge and delivered some of the most memorable weather of the season so far. With the leaderboard tightening and four races to go over the next five weeks, the battle for the overall trophy is heating up ⛵🏆

Thanks to Cormac Farrelly for the pictures!

Two weeks into our Junior Summer Courses and the verdict is in on the Red Hoody Class of 2026...

Fast learners. Fearless sailors. Relentless consumers of ice cream🍦📈

A big shoutout to all our junior instructors and volunteer parents for keeping the show on the water, we couldn’t do it without you 💙

Well done to our newly formed HYC ILCA Youth squad, of whom 6 young sailors, hit their first ever Regional ILCA event this weekend. Big breeze and sun made for an exciting Leinster Championship hosted by Skerries Sailing Club. Each HYC sailor pushed hard as they went head-to-head with top sailors in a highly competitive fleet. Despite tough conditions progress was clear 💪
Special thanks to Coach Charlie Keating for his ongoing support and top class regatta prep and to Skerries Sailing Club for a great event. Stay tuned for the next one!
