To be able to hold space for those who have decided to begin their fertility journey, those who have miscarried and those waiting for their baby to arrive is just so special.
The fertility journey can be so varied from preparing your body for natural conception, fertility medication, IUI, IVF or surrogacy. There are so many ways to conceive. Reflexology takes each individual's mind, body and spirit into account from taking a thorough consultation to putting a treatment plan in place. Fertility reflexology is recommended by a lot of fertility clinics and the cost of reflexology is covered by most private health insurers.
Reflexology can be used in pregnancy, labour and after pregnancy to help maintain balance as the mother is going through physical, mental and emotional changes by relaxing the body and mind. Reflexology can help with fatigue, morning sickness, heartburn, constipation, pregnancy diabetes, back ache, anxiety and oedema to list a few. All of my maternity clients have been recommended to have reflexology at their maternity hospital.

Happy is the home with happy little feet 👣
When you book a baby or child reflexology appointment with me, you as the childs parent, grandparent or carer will learn how and when to give a reflexology treatment to your own little people's feet. It's not realistic to bring your child to me every time they have teething pain or colic.
Reflexology is quick and easy to apply, only removal of shoes and socks is required and can be performed anywhere. Ways reflexology can help your little people:
💜aid restful sleep, calming and relaxing
💜boost the immune system
💜improve colic, constipation, diarrhoea, hiccups, tummy aches
💜ease teething pain, ear pain, etc.
💜assist with concentration and ability to focus
💜deter allergic reactions, hayfever, sinus blockages
💜improve and maintain healthy skin
💜ease anxiety or non-specific worries
Best of all in my opinion, this treatment can improve bonding.
The length of the treatment you give will vary depending on your baby or childs age and there are different sequences for different ailments but don't worry you won't have to remember everything we cover, you will get all of the guidance notes you need to take home.
You're more than welcome to bring your little people with you or if you would like an hour out for yourself then we can use dummy feet to practice 👣

Lymphatic reflexology is fantastic for people who want to
✔detox
✔improve circulation
✔improve immunity
✔improve their sinuses or
✔improve oedema (swelling) due to age, medication, pregnancy, stress, illness, excessive exercise, injury, surgery, cancer treatment, scar tissue, lymph node removal.
A healthy lymphatic system is vital to our health and wellbeing because the lymphatic system:
1. Drains fluid so the tissues do not become waterlogged (swollen)
2. Absorbs the fat soluble nutrients from the food we eat as it passes through the small intestine
3. Is responsible for the production and maturation of white blood cells which we need for our immunity
4. The lymphatic system removes
✔Proteins that draw water towards the bodies tissues - excess proteins can cause oedema (swelling)
✔Dead cells
✔Waste products
✔Bacteria
✔Virus
✔Toxins
✔Water
✔Fat
Lymphatic reflexology is effective because the reflexes for the lymph nodes are stimulated to activate the energy of the lymphatic system.

For my facial reflexology treatments I got my hands on the fab new Crystal Moon Roller from my pal Emma 🙂
Depending on the client's need I will pick from the rose quartz, amethyst and aventurine crystal roller heads to work on blood and lymph on the face and neck, pressure points, reflex zones and meridians, so the whole body is balanced. This lymphatic drainage rolling technique detoxifies the body, improves circulation, improves immunity and tension is released from the facial muscles.
3 of my favourite crystals. Rose quartz for softening the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Amethyst for stress relief and relaxation. Aventurine for sculpting muscles, tightening skin and helping with inflammation.

Facial reflexology is a very powerful therapy because of proximity of the face to the brain and the nervous system. Our face can express our emotions in a way no other part of the body can, everything we feel is projected onto our face, therefore it is a mirror to our health (stress, pain, fear, etc.).
While working on blood and lymph locally, pressure points, reflex zones and meridians, the whole body is balanced. It is extremely relaxing as the vagus nerve is stimulated and when the body has a chance to shut down, the body's own healing response is stimulated. The lymphatic drainage techniques detoxify the body, improve circulation, improve immunity and tension is released from the facial muscles.
This treatment is not about products (don't expect cleansers, toners or facemasks), what you can expect is cupping on your face and neck and an acupressure pen (like a mini tens machine). All very stimulating and relaxing tools for a full body workout.

Inhaling essential oils is the quickest way to get essential oils into your body and the quickest way to get relief.
Within 60 seconds of inhaling essential oils they will be in your lungs and blood stream travelling around your body giving you relief.
The pollen count has been so high lately, lots of people with hayfever, full sinuses, painful sinuses, painful swollen eyes, lots of ear wax.
Some essential oils to inhale for relief:
Cajuput
Eucalyptus
Ravansara
Tea Tree
German Chamomile
Lavender
Peppermint
Petitgrain
Pine
Rosemary
Everlasting
Thyme
These oils are best used in an aromatherapy inhaler for some pocket sized relief. If you would like an aromatherapy inhaler (€12) text me on 0857827185 and I can post it to you. Laura x

Essential oils are natural antioxidants and they support the immune system.
Daily use can:
💜Relax the body
💜Reduce the adverse affect of stress
💜Aid good quality sleep
For every treatment, following a consultation, I make a blend specifically for the clients needs to use during the treatment and I give the client the blend to take home to continue their healing.
All of the treatments I offer can soothe the mind and relax the body allowing energy, blood and lymph to flow more freely. When these benefits are combined with the healing power of essential oils, the results can be powerful 👌

Did you know bran can cause pain if you suffer with IBS?
IBS can cause cramping, abdominal pain, bloating, wind, diarrhoea or constipation, sometimes both. IBS needs to be managed long term.
It is associated with inadequate fibre so bran might seem like a good way to increase fibre but it is not for you if you have IBS. Wheat based products are generally irritating too.
Good foods for IBS:
Oat cakes, rice cakes, porridge, soya milk, brown rice, homemade barley water, pulses, vegetables, carrot juice, herbal teas (chamomile, peppermint, fennel), chicken, fish, lamb, lots of water (including cabbage water), live yogurt.
Avoid:
Bread, cakes, batter, buns, biscuits, pizza, sugar, salt, milk, cheeses, alcohol, coffee, tea, deep fried foods, fizzy drinks, wheat and bran based foods.

Great news! You can now get a refund on your reflexology treatment if you have health insurance. Depending on your policy it could be up to a 50% refund 💜
