TUD Badminton 2019-2020

A wonderful job by the team during our final group stage matches, we were at a very tough spot but we managed to overcome that and we are through to the next round!
Credits to Athlone for being great hosts for the team.
We will continue to work hard and play to our best! 🏸🏸

Reminder for those that know about the match tomorrow. We will be leaving the college at 12pm to go to Athlone IT as we are playing away.
It is about 2 hours drive so we must meet up early as we can outside the S block.
Our goal tomorrow is meet up on time, get there, play, enjoy ourselves and come back as early as we can!

Enjoyed playing against and chatting with the Captain of Athlone IT Badminton Club. Great sportsmanship and fair play to both sides yesterday. 🏸🏸

Yesterdays match was tough but we played fair and we also had fun with the friendly Athlone IT team. 🏸🏸

Another good job by the team during our latest training to prepare us for our next match on Thursday 🏸🏸

Next match is at home against Galway IT and Athlone IT again. It will be Thursday 24th October around 2pm. We have the hall booked from 1pm to 6pm so we have time to practice.

Well done to those that attended training yesterday.

So match is on Thursday and we are leaving at 12pm outside S Block/Gym. Those who I have spoken to and have selected to play are the ones coming to the match.

It will be a long drive to Galway so bring a packed lunch for yourselves and meet up as early as we can.

Important news!
Our match date has been decided to be on Thursday 3pm at GMIT.
Please let me know if you can make it so I can list the team for the match. I need responses ASAP.
On Thursday we must leave at 1pm bus provided by college.
It will be quite the track but it is our first match of the season so let's try make this count!

Hey All,

So there's some news that the two colleges we are going to be against had both decided that Thursday is more ideal for them for the match. I spoke to Kelly and we are waiting for a response to see if we can change it to Wednesday since most of you told me Wednesday was moire ideal.

I will let you all know when I get an answer.
