Irish Universities and Colleges Hockey Association Hockey Ireland Mixed Varsities 2026 has just been announced and will take place in University of Limerick on February 17th & 18th 2026.

As Such There will be 3 Designated Trial Dates For Mixed Intervarsity's on the next 3 Sundays , January 25th, February 1st & February 8th. All Players *(Including TU Dublin Sport Elite Athletes)* Must attend at least 1 of the Trials in order to be Considered.

Players in attendance at Tuesday night training in Grangegorman will also be considered.

Sunday 1st February 2026 - Pembroke Wanderers - 19:00 -21:00pm

**TU Dublin Hockey Club Social Training Starts Tonight from 6pm - 8pm on Pitch 4 in TU Dublin Sport Grangegorman and is for all abilities! **

Hockey Ireland Irish Universities and Colleges Hockey Association Varsity trials Continue in Pembroke Wanderers on October 5th and 12th from 7:30pm - 10pm and all players (including Sports Scholars) must attend at least one session in order to be considered!

Finally a big thank you to all Committee Members and club members who dedicated their time to manning the Hockey Stand last week in all campuses!

Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen

To those of you who are new and I’ve never met you are all very welcome to TU Dublin Hockey Club.

This year is set to be the Biggest yet and the club is set to take part in a record 8 tournaments in 2025/26.

First up and just around the corner is the Hockey Ireland Mauritius & Chilean Competitions which take place from October 24th - 26th in Queen's University Belfast. We’re delighted to announce that this year the club will be entering 3 teams (2 men’s teams, and a ladies team) with both 1st teams returning to The cup competitions after our success in both plate competitions last year. The second men’s team will compete in the Mauritius Plate.

As such with 3 teams entered, We have brought back SAHA - South African Hockey Association Olympian & previously head coach of the famous TU Dublin Fairytale squad that beat ucd in the Chilean cup final of 2022, Peabo Lembethe , who will pick all 3 squads, alongside Marcus Blake.

All 3 teams will be staying in Belfast for the weekend and your club committee, is doing everything we can to keep it as cheap as possible.

As such there will be trials in Pembroke Wanderers Hockey Club on the following dates to determine each squad:

**September 28th (This Sunday) **
October 5th
October 12th - Squads selected After
October 19th - Squad Warm Up Matches for selected players

All trials will take place from 7:30pm - 10pm.

All players *INCLUDING elite athlete program players* must attend at least 1 trial in order to be considered.

*All Players Must also Register on the TU Dublin Sport portal and will be required to have a Hockey Ireland Membership*

Looking forward to seeing you all this Sunday for the first trial.

Hi all,

The TUD Hockey AGM will take place on Wednesday, April 2nd, at 4:30 PM in Aungier Street Campus, Room AST2-019.

All scholars are expected to attend, and I also encourage those who have participated in any TUD Hockey event this year and are eligible to play next season to make the effort to be there too. The meeting will be brief, and your attendance is greatly appreciated.

If you are unable to attend, please message me privately in advance.
