Sad times to say goodbye to one of my first and longest clients.
Unfortunately but fortunately Alessia is moving back to Italy after 11 years in Dublin and working with me for 4 and a half.
Have a look at what we achieved together ➡️
A total of 29kg of bodyweight lost.
Her first dips with added weight and my first female client to add weight ever!
A 60kg bench at a BW of 69.
NEARLY 4 pullups 😂
A 125kg deadlift. Almost 2x bodyweight!
Amongst countless of other pbs, achievements and a knowledge of training so much so she could easily train by herself or coach others.
I’m super proud of everything Alessia has achieved.
I wish her nothing but luck and endless pbs in the future.

Dad bod season is out. It’s all about the father figure.
Too much fat to see my abs clearly, but I feel strong, healthy and fit.
You can’t be really lean all the time unfortunately.
Especially if long term muscle and strength / athletic performance is your goal.
A bit of bodyfat is exactly what the body needs to operate at its best.
Plus it’s way more fun to lift whilst also eating cake and drinking pints.
I’m sitting at over 90kg here for the first time in a while and training isn’t really a priority for me at the moment.
And that’s okay.
Between a bad hip, a new house and baby and a new gardening hobby (i’m an old bloke now apparently), training is taking a back seat.
Apart from bench press. I plan to hit 140kg in 4 months time, so let the training begin. 👀
Hopefully the dad strength kicks in about now.

It’s been an honour to watch Alessia go from shy beginner when she first started coming to me, to now a full blown gym gal.
Alessia has achieved an incredible transformation from being consistent and hard working for 4 years non stop.
Whilst the weight loss wasn’t linear, motivation waned, there stayed a constant discipline to show up and do what she could.
That’s the real secret to weight loss success.
All the tips and hacks in the world don’t mean diddly squat if you aren’t willing to just put in the work and stick at it.
Ain’t nothing to it but to do it.
Well done Alessia 👏
