Corduff Shotokan Karate Club

Huge congratulations to our newest batch of students at Corduff Karate Club who completed their grading today under the watchful eye of Sensei David Royle, 7th Dan.

The feedback was extremely positive, with great praise for the students’ attitude, fighting spirit, effort, and determination throughout. Every student should be very proud of what they achieved today.

This is another important step on the karate journey, and a reminder that hard work, discipline, and commitment always pay off. Well done to all of you on your progress — keep training hard and keep moving forward.

A huge thank you to all of our members who attended the special training course with Sensei Frank Brennan this weekend.

Sensei Brennan, the KUGB Senior Squad Coach and former World and European Champion, delivered an outstanding and extremely challenging session. As always, his teaching was full of detail, clarity, and insight, providing everyone with a fantastic opportunity to learn from one of the most respected figures in Shotokan karate.

Sensei Frank Brennan is not only an inspiring karateka, but also an inspiring character who has been visiting Dublin and delivering courses for over 25 years. It is always a privilege to host him, and we are very grateful for the time, knowledge, and experience he continues to share with our members.

The training was demanding but extremely rewarding, and it was fantastic to see so many members embracing the challenge and supporting the course.

We would also like to thank the USKFI for providing these opportunities for our members to train with such superb instructors, and for choosing our dojo to host the seminar.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to such a positive and hardworking atmosphere. Your continued commitment to your training and to the club is very much appreciated.

Sensei Royle, you are a great teacher in every sense of the word. You inspire us all to be better, not only as karate practitioners but as individuals.

Corduff Karate Club began with a young Sensei David Royle with an ambition to share his love for Karate with his local community. Many years have passed since Corduff SKC's inception with countless friendships made, Dan grades achieved, champions crowned and excellent training sessions along the way! We look forward to continuing our journey within the Corduff Community and celebrating many more years to come.
