MC INVITE 1
The first Masterclass Invite for Open teams took place over the weekend in Gonzaga College in Dublin. It saw 5 teams take to the field in a round robin tournament that saw some teams only play one day. The focus of the tournament was for local teams to get a run out early in the season after the unfortunate cancelling of the Siege of Limerick.
XVI Ultimate were the only side who finished the two days unbeaten and as such are the winners! Ranelagh Ultimate and PELT Ultimate only lost one game each, with Masterclass Men's team and UCD Ultimate Frisbee finishing 5th.
Spirit of the Game went to Masterclass who pipped Ranelagh and XVI by just .2! All the Spirit score were close which was great to see.

The competitive part of our Open team’s season begins in earnest this weekend as we play our first tournament as a team.
The MC Invite will see 5 teams take to the field in Dublin for an early season hit out. We are excited to welcome three of the best club teams in the country - Ranelagh Ultimate, PELT Ultimate & XVI Ultimate - as well as one of the best university teams in Ireland - UCD Ultimate Frisbee. We will keep you updated with results and standings as the weekend progresses.
