RCSI Rowing Club

Hello all!

Thank you all for joining us for our learn to row events in the last month! We saw some fantastic improvements, and we are excited to continue developing skills through the end of the year and get ready for formal training in the new year.

For anyone planning to row with us this school year, we have a mandatory teams meeting at 8pm on Tuesday the 21st (check your email for the link!)

This meeting is mandatory for all club members planning to row, experienced or novice. If you cannot attend this meeting, you must contact the club ahead of time.

Hi Everyone,

With a hugely successful first few weeks of RCSI rowing we hope most people interested in giving it a go will have been down to the club by now and given it a try.

We will be asking all those attending the meeting if they are happy to join the club in full and commit to the full training schedule for the coming months.

The agenda for the meeting:

1. Training schedule for the coming months for Men/Women.
2. Fee structure for RCSI Students to officially join Commercial Rowing Club.
3. Rowing and Coxing, the basics

This meeting will be *mandatory* for all those who want to take up rowing this year and get into the competitive spirit for the next couple of months while we train for University and National Championships.

Excited to announce a fun year ahead for the RCSI rowing club! Here’s a glimpse into the year ahead, all ending with Uni champs!!

If you want to join the rowing team and compete at Uni champs in April, make sure to sign up for our learn to row sessions as teams will be created soon!

📣 Calling all rowers and coxswain’s! If you have experience with rowing or coxing and would like to be a part of the team please email us.

Never heard of a coxswain before but interested in learning about what it is? Shoot us an email as well to get involved 🚣‍♂️🚣🏼‍♀️

Learn to Row is back! Come down on Saturdays from 12-3 to get on the water and start rowing, all levels are welcome!
