Stop making this mistake with your lateral raises! ❌

If you're just swinging the weight up, you're letting your traps take over. This is not giving you the definition you want.

Here's the fix:

1️⃣ Lean Forward: Hinge just slightly at your hips.
2️⃣ Push OUT, Don't Lift UP: Imagine pushing the dumbbells toward the walls on either side of you.
3️⃣ Elbows > Wrists: Keep your elbows slightly higher than your wrists at the top of the movement.
4️⃣ Control the Negative: Don't just drop the weight. Control it all the way back down.

This small tweak puts 100% of the tension right onto your side delt, which is the key to building real width.

Read this when you feel like giving up. 👇

​At 42, Lisa was diagnosed with two malignant tumors.
​A grueling period of surgery, depression, and 50lbs of weight gain followed. She hit rock bottom.
​Her one thought? "My only option was to fight for my life."
​So. She. Fought.
​She started small, rebuilding her strength one workout at a time. Today, Lisa is in remission, works out SIX days a week, and is in the best shape of her entire life.
​A powerful reminder that you are stronger than you think and that movement can be a fierce source of healing.

You know what to do to be healthy. I'm not going to be another silly goose patronising you on exercise or nutrition BUT maybe I can give you a little inspiration.

Why is it SO hard to actually do it? 🤔
​You're not lazy. You're fighting your own brain's programming, an environment designed for sitting, and the stress of daily life. Humans are programmed this way.

I'm going to share a ​series of inspiring stories over the next month or so. These will be of people from all walks of life. Maybe there will be one that resonates with you.
Maybe you'll learn how to close the gap between your intentions and your actions.

Milestone Update: New cast, new energy.

​This week felt like a turning point. Finally off the heavy pain meds, and I can feel my energy returning BUT

😳​The mental side is a different kind of challenge, though. There are moments you feel a little useless, but I’m choosing to see it as part of the process. Every challenge is a rep.

🫠​The biggest surprise? I thought I’d be blasting through epic upper body sessions. The reality: I have a 2-minute window before the blood rushes to the surgery wound and calls time. 🤣 It's a lesson in adapting and finding progress wherever you can.
​Still, we move.

​For anyone who's been through a major recovery, what was the most unexpected challenge you faced?

​Scoop it Out: Remove all the seeds and strings Does anyone make soup or cook these seeds!?
