GNS Fitness GNS Fitness is supervised training that is 100% result orientated. We help our members achieve great Why?!

The Latest Scientific Facts About Fat Loss Tell Us That:

Fact 1:

More people go to the gym than ever before, yet they don’t seem to be in better shape. The fat loss workout programmes you read about in magazines and are taught by run of the mill fitness instructors are often based on out-of-date exercise science and nutrition information. Fact 2:

Sports performance and conditioning science has developed an unprecedented rate since the early 1990s. The latest fat loss research, which our program is based on, means that you lose more fat more rapidly than ever before whilst keeping your hard-earned muscle and overall “tone”. Fact 3:

Spending countless hours on the stationary bike or treadmill isn’t just boring and a drain on your precious free time, but it’s also counterproductive and detrimental to your body both hormonally (so you have less energy, less muscle, and more fat!) and from an injury perspective due to the over use of set movement patterns (repetitive strain).

You can train as hard as you like, but your body needs the right building blocks to repair and grow.

Protein helps:
🏋️ Build and repair muscle tissue
🔄 Support recovery between workouts
🛡️ Preserve lean muscle, especially when dieting

A good target for most active people is 1.2–2.0g of protein per kg of body weight per day.

For example, at 70kg → 84–140g of protein per day.

Train hard. Recover well. Eat enough protein. 🥩🥚🍗

🚨 MORE ISN’T ALWAYS BETTER.

We love seeing our members work hard. But if you’re training hard every single day, doing multiple HIIT sessions daily, doing more outside of the gym and rarely taking a day off… this one’s for you. 👀

Your body needs recovery just as much as it needs training.

Training provides the stimulus.
Recovery allows your body to adapt.
That’s how you build strength, muscle and fitness.

Constantly adding more can leave you fatigued, affect your performance, disrupt sleep and make it harder to recover properly.

And remember — rest isn’t being lazy. It’s part of the programme. 💪
Rest doesn’t have to mean being completely sedentary. It could mean going for a walk or even squeezing in a Pilates class.

You don’t need to smash yourself into the ground every day to make progress.

Train with purpose. Recover properly. Come back stronger.

Fat loss is a process, not an overnight transformation. 📉

One week the scales might be down. The next week they might be up. That doesn’t mean you’ve gone backwards.

Your body weight can fluctuate for so many reasons — what matters is the overall trend over time.

You didn’t gain body fat overnight, so don’t expect to lose it overnight either. Consistency with your nutrition, training, steps, sleep and lifestyle will add up.

👉 Look at the bigger picture.
👉 Look at the trend, not one check-in.
👉 Look back at where you started.
👉 Trust the process.

If your numbers are trending downwards over time, you’re doing the right thing. 💪

Keep showing up. Keep going. The results will follow.
