Sometimes we all need a kick in the ass. Sometimes we all need to drink a cup of concrete and harden up.
The best plans or intentions mean nothing without action.

Don’t be overwhelmed by the size of the task just keep moving forward.

How do you eat an elephant?
.... one little bite at a time.

Keep going, however you can, with whatever you have. 🤟💪
Ps. Don’t eat elephants.

Wise words - I like to imagine he said that right before sprinting up the biggest hill in around, doing rocky style shadow boxing in a toga, and sandals, at the tender age of 80.

Appetite and Water?
Trouble with cravings? Hungry? ....maybe not.

Dehydration causes you to believe you need to eat when you really need liquid intake. There is no difference in the signal sent to the brain between hunger and thirst.

Drink a glass first thing in the morning, 30min before dinner if having trouble with portion size, a glass before bed too overall aiming for 1ltr per 25kg of body weight (more on training days).

Our brains and bodies evolved on a food scarce environment they have become amazing machines for motivating and enabling us to find, consume and store food energy (as body fat) for the leaner times that would surely follow.
However the world we live in is no longer one of scarcity and lean times but of an abundance of cheap calorie dense food. Our ancient brains and modern diets are at odds.

If in doubt sip it out, try water first, normally it takes 20-30 minutes for your brain to receive the signal it’s full, so if you struggle with your appetite focus on water drink a pint of water before you decide you’re really hungry.

“If you're not hungry enough to eat an apple, you're not really hungry, you're just bored”

Every day it gets a little easier… But you gotta do it every day

—  that’s the hard part. But it does get easier.
