Suitable for beginners to already advanced practitioners.

Pilates for Performers is a specialised Pilates class for people involved with acting, film, music and general arts related. Set up by filmmaker, photographer and actress Rita-Marie Lawlor, who is a fully Qualified Mat Pilates instructor, awarded from ProFi Fitness School, Dublin. The stresses of performance can be overwhelming to a lot of people in this profession, whether it be filmmaking, acting or performing music. Pilates is a wonderful way to work the body, strengthen the core and spine while calming the mind and making it more focused. Classes will commence in January 2020.

My past fitness and wellbeing experiences over twenty years include: Tai Chi, many styles of Yoga - Hatha, Iyengar, Power, Ashtanga, and Rocket. Martial Arts - Tae Kwon Do - blue belt (I aim to get black!), Kettlebells, Boxing and Yoglates (a mix of Yoga and Pilates). I am qualified in First Aid with Defibrillator and have a real passion for Vegan health and nutrition for 30 years.
