Chris was one of the original members of the Challenge hikers.

In November of 2022, Chris' world began to crash around him when he first contracted covid. He thought it had passed but after months of symptoms, he realised it hadn't, and was diagnosed with long covid. An extremely debilitating, cruel and misunderstood condition.

So we've enough to make a nice wee group... Cathal will be coming with me, so I plan to hike on the Saturday & hopefully do some surfing on the Sunday (but obviously ye can plan whatever else ye fancy :-))

Who's up for a trip to Louisburgh for the October Bank Holiday weekend?

Usual terms and conditions apply - you should have the appropriate gear for hiking and be prepared to look after yourself on the mountains. Note that there will be no leaders on the hikes. As it will be October, there's a fair chance of it being cold and wet at some stage :-)
