Well done to two of our players from our women’s section, Iszy and Deiv, who were part of EY’s winning team in the Cricket Leinster Hundred Ball Business League! They claimed a fantastic victory over PwC last night, winning by 84 runs. Great work Ladies!

Women’s 1s
Congrats to our W1s on a massive victory over Rush 1XI last night, successfully chasing down 201 runs! An outstanding performance with the bat saw L. Delaney lead the way with a brilliant 96* alongside A. Sheedy with 79*. Well done team!

Women’s 2s
Congrats to our W2s team who also claimed a great win this week, beating Malahide 2XI by 7 runs in a tight contest. Great batting performances all round from O. Bagnall with 38 runs, K. Dillon with 33 runs, and A. O’Kelly with 24 runs.

Women’s 3s
Well done to our W3s who won against Terenure in a high scoring match! The team put up a fantastic 144 runs and defended it, securing the win in the last over.

Women’s 3s
Congrats to the W3s on a brilliant 9-wicket win against Terenure on Wednesday (22nd July)! Great performance all round with O. Pacitto and S. Smyth taking two wickets each, alongside A. Deacon (41*) and captain K. Dagastino (37). Earlier in the week, hard luck on a narrow semi-final defeat on Tuesday (14th July), losing on the very last ball. However, the team bounced back the following day with an incredible win against Merrion W3s featuring A. Deacon (2 wickets & 36*), S. Merenbach (33), and R. Kelly (15 off 4 balls). Thanks to all our volunteers!

Women’s 2s
Hard luck to our W2s team who suffered a loss to Clontarf 2s on Tuesday (21st July). A standout performance came from O. Bagnall with a fantastic 98 runs off 60 balls, while K. Dagastino took 2 wickets and I. Merriman picked up 1.

Women’s 1s
Hard luck to our W1s team after a close loss to Malahide 1s on Thursday (23rd July). Well done to all, with L. Delaney scoring 56 runs, J. Sparrow taking 2 wickets, and A. O’Kelly, K. Dagastino, and A. Sheedy taking 1 wicket each.

Hard luck to our W4s team with a loss to Finglas 1s on Thursday (16th July). Top performances came from S. Smyth with 29 runs and 1 wicket, and M. O’Donoghue with 24 runs.

Another one down to the wire in a Div5 game where Leinster 3XI defended 202 and won the game by 6 runs in a last ball thriller.

Batting first LCC posted 202 with a fantastic fifty by Jack Delany 52(62) well supported by Nitin 38 (36), Daniel 24 (38) and Prabhakar 18(20).
