It’s Officially All-Ireland weekend here in Glenville and we can see why our course is called the Augusta of Pitch and Putt.

She is the youngest daughter of Brian and Christine.

Junior Final.... Christy Nolan vs Mick O’Neill

The experienced Christy Nolan proved too strong for 1st time finalist Mick O Neill winning on the 34th.

Inter Final.... Keith Potter vs Sean Quinn

Sean Quinn played slightly better to beat his good buddy Keith Potter on the 34th.

Club Final.... Arron O’Droighneain vs Joe Joyce

Arron played very steady for the 1st 18, but there was nothing he could do against a man on fire 🔥. Joe had holes in 1 on the 3rd and 6th, and finished -13 for the 1st 18, to leave him 6up.
Arron won the 21st, but the result was never in doubt and Joe finished with another 2 on the 30th. A great performance of -15, and title no.4.

It is with a heavy heart I am sharing the news that Richie Hyland has passed away.
Richie was a member of Glenville for a very long time and held many positions on committee including chairman and Club captain.
He was famous for the annual bbq which ran in glenville.
He will be remembered with affection by everyone who knew him. Sending sincere condolences to Carmel Richard Lorraine and keith.

The light of heaven to Richie may he rest in peace.
