Canterbury Give It A Try in Westmanstown is a 6-week programme where girls aged U8-U14 can learn to play rugby in a fun environment.

Great fun, lots of games and a gentle and gradual introduction to the game of rugby.

Now in its 9th year, former participants are playing right up through age grade with a number now playing Interprovincial rugby at U18 level and Senior levels.

The Irish Police Rugby team are back to back grand slam 4 Nations Police Rugby champions after a 54-31 victory over England in Sale RFC on Wednesday.

Massive congrats to Senior men’s players
Brendan Darcy and Matthew O’Connell who were part of the Squad.

Congrats also to Senior men’s Coach Eddie Fallon and Senior men’s team Managers Nick Tarrant and Damien Maher who were part of the Back Room team.

Committee member Eamon O’Grady also sits on the Committee of 4 Nations Police Rugby

An action-packed day with all sections of the club taking part:

our men’s team take on Greystones in the Doyle Cup, our U11s team take on their Greystones counterparts, our Additional Needs Tag team, Westmanstown Wasps, play Greystones Seagulls and our Girls’ rugby summer programme – Give It A Try! starts.

The day will be marked with a BBQ, ice cream and lots of fun and games!
