Saturday 9th May a group of UCD SAC divers headed out at 04:45 for a special sunrise dive, our version of Pieta’s Darkness into Light. This has been a recent tradition of the club, to mark our appreciation for the incredible work done by Pieta house. A huge well done to all involved 👏
Highlights from our recent trip to Achill🏝️ even though we didn’t have the weather on our side for diving we made the most of the weekend with snorkels at Keem beach, Keel Lough and Dooega Bay, a visit to the sauna and some boat trips 🌊. What a way to spend a bank holiday weekend! Keep your eyes out for some more dive content over the coming months 👀

Join us Wednesday 11th March for a special screening of Who Needs Anemones, which follows the story of scuba divers from both sides of the Irish border on their journey to become citizen scientists. This documentary showcases the beautiful marine life in Carlingford Lough. We are delighted to announce that Lia Philcox, the filmmaker, will be joining us on the night to answer all of your questions about this incredible documentary.
