The Dublin Pitch and Putt Podcast will return in two parts this week, first off we will have a review of the Fippa Irish Open in Portmarnock Pitch and Putt with one of the organisers Thomas Ryan from the host club telling us about the sponsors, the preparations and everything that went into the competition.

A great insight for clubs looking to run future events and a long chat about the Under 16 players and all the competitors from around Ireland and abroad.

Huge congratulations to everyone who took part, organised and watched the Juveniles Irish Open in Portmarnock Pitch and Putt Club yesterday.

A superb performance from the home club as they took plenty of prizes with the Overall Winner, Enda Hayden with a simply superb score of 98 (-10).

Sarah Ryan of Tipperary Hills took yet another title as she won the Girls title with Gemma Hayden, Sophia Audah & Summer Audah all taking prizes again for the host club.

Brilliant organisation and promotion of the youth game and great to see a big crowd in attendance.

The Fippa Irish Open begins today for the rest of the field with sessions at 8am, 12pm & 4pm, so plenty of sun, sand, birdies, bogeys and craic to be found out in Portmarnock Pitch and Putt today and tomorrow with players from around Europe taking part.
