Mercy Basketball Club was set up in 1989 by Mark and Annette Ingle. Located in Coolock Village on Dublin's north side, we have teams playing at all levels.

DCU Mercy | Home of Champions, was formally known as Mercy Basketball Club and was established in 1989 by both Mark and Annette Ingle.

As we close our doors we cannot go without paying a special thank you to two of the most amazing people.

Trish & Tony Hatton.

They started their journey with the club when their daughters began playing and over the years have contributed so much to the club. They were on hand to help in fundraising, coaching, unpaid taxi drivers, tea and sandwich making, but probably remembered best over the last few years when they took on the roles of team managers, stats takers etc with the Superleague team.

So thank you Trish & Tony for the support and friendship you have shown everyone at DCU Mercy it was really appreciated.

It is with great sadness and regret that we wish to announce the disbandment of DCU Mercy Basketball Club.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our players, coaches and team managers etc the best of luck with their future clubs.

We would also like to thank all who supported us throughout the years, players, parents, coaches, team managers, sponsors etc. A huge thank you to DCU Sport for their support over the last years. Proteam who were always there for our gear. To Basketball Ireland, Dublin Ladies Basketball Board - DLBB and for a while the Dublin Mens Basketball Board.

To all the clubs and teams we played and met throughout the years a huge thank you for the memories.

Mark and Annette will always cherish the memories they made and the people they met along the way.

Wishing everyone in the basketball community the best of luck for the future.
