Hi Everyone , I'm Rachel!
I’m delighted to be back at Aura Lucan as one of the newest faces behind reception although some of you may already remember me from our old building!
Aura is very much a family affair for me, as my sisters, Yvonne and Emer, are both deputy managers here.
I’ve spent most of my life upside down quite literally!
Gymnastics has been a huge part of my world for as long as I can remember. I began teaching when I was just 13 or 14 and officially started working and coaching in the old Aura building on my 16th birthday.
I worked across both gymnastics and reception until 2018, when I left to follow my dream of opening my own gymnastics academy. I successfully ran the academy from 2019 until this year, when my journey brought me right back to where it all began here at Aura!
My talents don’t stop behind the reception desk my CV practically does cartwheels! I’m a qualified gymnastics skills teacher, have competed at world, national and international competitions, and I’m also a qualified spin instructor. Whether I’m upside down on the gymnastics floor or turning up the resistance on a spin bike, I love helping people to move, build confidence and have fun!
Outside of work, I enjoy Reformer Pilates and spinning, but my most important role is being mam to my two boys, Noah, 10, and Elliot, 5. You might even recognise them from Aura’s social media, where they shared their very first day of swimming lessons here!
I’m delighted to be back as part of the Aura family, so if you see me at reception, make sure you stop and say hello. I’ll do my very best to solve all your problems
