It’s a reality I’ve had to come to terms with a mistake I made that completely shifted the course of my life but if this past year and a half has taught me anything it’s that no mistake no matter how big has to define you.
Life throws some brutal lessons at you but I’ve learned that it’s in the hardest times you grow the most. You find strength you didn’t know you had. You learn what it means to take accountability and to rebuild even when you live in the unknown
Take time appreciate the simple things we take for granted It’s taught me that even when life feels like it’s falling apart, there’s always something to be thankful for.
To anyone out there struggling no matter how dark things get, no matter how heavy the weight feels, know that every single day is an opportunity to turn it all around.
You’re stronger than you think.
Mistakes don’t define you how you respond to them does.
As I walk into tomorrow I’m doing it with my head held high. There is nothing more i could have possibly done to prove who I am and
To my family, my friends, and everyone who has stood by me thank you. Your love and support have carried me through the hardest days and I’ll never forget it.
Life isn’t about how many times you fall it’s about how you rise again and I promise you I’ll rise 💛

🌟 Challenge Completed 🌟
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances and the impact of the storm that hit Ireland, our plans had to change completely.
It’s hard and upsetting because when you set these goals you want to see them through fulfill them and make the impact you set out to achieve.
While things didn’t go as planned with no skydive and no full cycling kilometers completed we gave it everything we could under the circumstances and at the end of the day, a significant amount of money was still raised for a very worthy cause💛
We want to say a massive thank you to every single person who supported us along the way.
To everyone who donated, shared or pushed us to keep going you know who you are so thank you
For me, for Ryan and for this incredible cause thank you. 🙏

Important Update 🚴♀️
Due to the high winds and dangerous conditions we’ve made the decision to postpone today’s cycling for our safety.
Skidive Ireland are 50/50 about the chances right now so all we can do is hope the storm passes quicker to be able to make it work
Here’s the plan moving forward:
If the skydive goes ahead, we will plan something after it to complete
If the skydive is canceled we will organize one big cycle that covers the kms we need in one massive ride
We’ll keep you updated as soon as we know more.
Stay safe and thank you all for understanding!

A huge shoutout to the legends at 360Circle for sorting us out this morning with the gear. This spot has been the perfect HQ for us to refuel, hydrate and gear up to keep going due to bigger cycle been cancelled
We are currently 30km in and ready to push for another 50-60km before wrapping up the day with some shorter runs later on.
Your support means everything whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply cheering us on.
The link is in the bio and on the story if you’d like to get involved.
Every bit helps, and we can’t thank you enough.

🚨 Important Update 🚨
As you’ve probably seen red weather warnings have been issued across Ireland today and with the Storm about to hit, we’ve had to make some changes to our plans for the cycle to skydive
We both wore determined to push through this challenge but it’s worth putting lives in danger so our safety has to come first
For today our focus is aiming to cover as many km around Dublin instead this will still keep us on track to do the skydive on Saturday morning but that will depend on how things unfold.
We’ll be waiting for an update from Skydive Ireland by Friday at 3 p.m.
Thanks for your patience and support we’re staying hopeful and determined!
Keep an eye out for more updates.
Stay safe out there! 🙏

Cycle to Skidive ✈️🚲
This week took an unexpected turn as I was involved in a three-car accident. Thankfully everyone is safe and sound but the car was written off.
Problems like this are always inconvenient but there’s always a bigger perspective to consider.
Spent the last two days it was sorting this out and getting the head right. I’ve been feeling it in my body from the backlash but the challenge must go on.
I can’t help but feel like this is some big test
there are lessons to be taught, lessons to be learned and I’m just trying to stay focused and keep moving forward.
When challenges like this hit you, it’s your actions that reveal who you truly are what you stand for and what you’re really about. I believe there are bigger and better things already mapped out for me.
Life isn’t always about following the road you thought you’d take. Sometimes you’re redirect and you have to find gratitude in that journey too.
Appreciate every moment.
Live life to the fullest.
Be kind.

Training clips from last few sessions ✌️
28/12/2024
Push day clips from today.
It’s honestly hard not to go in and try hitting numbers like I used to. Coming off the back end of prep I went into Movember and ran 160km that month. After that December was a bit more relaxed training took a step been busy with work and wanting to enjoy myself and being fully off assistance for the last month it’s always going to happen
I’ve set myself a new challenge to hit before January ends so be working around that and I’ll know how to roadmap everything moving forward so for now im just enjoying the process of getting back into momentum & routine

Today was the first session of the week
I’ve been so busy with work and life at this time@that the gym had to take a back seat.
Sometimes life gets in the way and that’s okay.
Life is short enjoy yourself, time with family, enjoy the odd drink and food everything Christmas has to give .

Been ready for whatever comes my way so wokri@g hard then ever to make this Christmas special and It’s a true blessing to share this special time family & friends ❤️
Being able to give back, support others who need it and challenge myself to grow in every area of life means everything to me🙌🏻
Despite the ups and downs, I know that as long as I keep putting in the work, good things will follow. 🤝

One Year Without You 💛
I can’t believe it’s already been a year. It still feels so strange not having you here with us. I miss you more than words can say. We all loved sitting with you, listening to tales of the old days, from Grandad’s antics to the war years or just hearing about your adventures.
You had a way of making everyone feel so special. Life feels a little quieter, without your voice, your laughter and your wisdom. I hope I’m making you proud because so much of who I am is thanks to you and the lessons you shared.
You’re always in my heart and those chats and memories we made will stay with me forever.
Rest easy Granny 🕊️
Love and miss you endlessly. 💛
