Dickson Waddilove finish out their Paris 2024 Olympic Games in Fourth place after a 9th place finish in the Medal Race Final!
An incredibly tough break in the final race of their series, but we couldn’t be more proud of these two and all of the team☘️☘️

Guilfoyle Durcan: 36 pts
Leaving five points in the difference.
The final standings from this week will then be added to the above numbers. The boat with the lowest points at the end of the three events will be nominated to the OFI 🍀🍀
UPDATE from 49er EUROPEANS 🚨
Up to seven races remain in the championship that will decide which of the two Irish boats will be nominated for inclusion in Team Ireland.
To win the nomination, Guilfoyle and Durcan must finish five clear places ahead of Dickson and Waddilove in the final standings on Sunday!

Selection trials down to the wire for men's skiff sailors:
Team Dickson Waddilove finish the event 16th
Guilfoyle Durcan finish in 21st, leaving 5 points in the difference for the trials ahead of the 49er European's
Eve McMahon is the best of the Irish once again finishing in 12th for the ILCA 6 fleet
Ewan McMahon finishes in 22nd and Finn Lynch in 31st
