๐ฅ WEEKLY ROUNDโUP: MEDALS EVERYWHERE ๐ฅ
What. A. Week. ๐
Weโre basically running out of space in the trophy cabinet at this point ๐๐
First โ a few quietly collected medals from last week (because our masters are too modest for their own good ๐):
๐ฅ Gerry Boyles only went and WON the M65 category at the Limerick Half Marathon. Casual. No big deal. Just GOLD.
๐ฅ Meanwhile, Vanessa Sallier was off in Sicily ๐ฎ๐น representing Ireland at the European Masters and came home with a haul:
๐ฅ Team Gold (Women 55+) in the 10km road race โ won by TWO SECONDS. Talk about drama ๐
๐ฅ Team Gold (Women 45+) in the XC relay
๐ฅ Team Silver (Women 55+) in the XC relay
๐ฎ๐ช AND a national record in the 20km walk (Women 55+). Queen behaviour.
Now onto THIS week ๐
๐โโ๏ธ Sandyford 5K
Dave Power smashed it with a 4thโplace finish and โ as usual โ 1st M40. Machine.
๐โโ๏ธ Sportsworld Terenure 5 Mile
Perfect weather, perfect chaos, perfect medal raid ๐
Patrick MacGabhann led the charge and finished an unreal 2nd place after a fierce lastโkilometre battle with Eddie OโConnor (Brothers Pearse), whoโs absolutely flying right now.
And the ageโgrade podiums? We basically owned them:
๐ฅ Sean McCreery โ M60
๐ฅ Tom Cuddy โ M65
๐ฅ Martin Kelly โ M65
๐ฅ Donal Murphy โ M70
๐ฅ Grรกinne Black โ F45
Plus brilliant runs from:
Alexander Dunne Martin โข Declan Quinn โข Gavin Murphy โข John McHugh โข Catherine Kelly โข Padraig Keogan ๐ฅ

Santry โ 9th May 2026
Day two of the Dublin Juvenile Leagues brought another fantastic turnout in the sunshine ๐ค๏ธ. Plenty of traffic to battle through ๐๐จ but totally worth it for the brilliant action shots, big smiles, and some superb podium finishes ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฅ
The energy, the effort, the team spirit โ all absolutely topโclass ๐๐ค
Next stop: The Dublin Championships on 23rd Mayโฆ not long now and excitement is already building ๐ฅ๐
Letโs keep it rolling! ๐ชโจ
