Are you looking for your teen to get a job this summer, why not open the doors and get them qualified as a lifeguard with a course that provides an internationally recognised qualification!

Course Aim: The aim of this Lifeguard course is to provide learners with the knowledge and skills to prevent, recognise and respond to aquatic emergencies. This course also provides the knowledge and skills for breathing and cardiac emergencies.

We are also bolting on the Automatic External Defibrillator qualification to this course

Course Duration: 6 Days (includes assessment)

On successful completion of the course candidates will receive a qualification through the Royal Lifesaving Society, governed by the Institute of Qualified Lifeguards.

Candidates attending a NPLQ course must be 16 years old or above at the time of taking the NPLQ final assessment and be able to:

Jump/dive into deep water
Swim 50 metres in less than 60 seconds
Swim 100 metres continuously on front and back
In deep water, tread water for 30 seconds
Surface dive to the floor of the pool
Climb out unaided without a ladder/steps and where the pool design permits.

With waiting list bursting at the seams the pool i do swimming lessons at are catering to members of the club only!

I'm back doing private swim lessons from 25th October, just in time for mid-term break🎃.

All lessons will be held at Westwood Westmanstown swimming pool.

I will have midweek mornings and evenings times available, and limited weekend slots.

All ages and swim abilities welcome.

Discounts for 2 or 3 children in a class. And for groups of up to 3 adults who want to learn together can avail of discounts.
