Mummy Bootcamps around Dublin, where new mums don't need a sitter, and can come along and meet other new mums, get fit, and swap stories!

During lockdowns, we move online when possible! Mummy Bootcamp was set up by Lorraine Ho, of Bootcamp Ireland when she was pregnant with her first little boy. So you could say that 'Mummy Bootcamp' is a baby of Bootcamp Ireland:)

It's all about giving Mums a healthy outlet after having their babies. We run fitness classes for mums who can come along with their babies and if they need to tend to

When the kids (and myself), have a noodle craving, this was the concoction that ticked all the boxes!!! It was divine!!

Make the soup from tin coconut milk, 1 veg/chicken stock, 3 tblsp fish sauce and soy sauce and some curry paste (3 tblsp). Once boiling. Add nest of noodle per person, peeled Prawns, julienne carrots and spring onions and peppers and any other veg you have.

Easy peasy!!

Enjoy!

I hope you all had a nice day. Whether your first Mothers day being a Mum, or maybe you're celebrating with your own Mum. Whatever way you got to acknowledge the day and the brilliance that is all of Motherhood, I hope you got at 5 mins to yourself to take it all in, breathe deep, and appreciate all joy that being a Mum brings.

You ARE awesome
You ARE fierce
You ARE strong
You ARE determined
You ARE blessed
You ARE amazing
You ARE a Mother

Xx

Well after a rocky start today, long story... I did it! Made it over the finish line a little better than I thought. Having a goal is really important to maintain or even ramp up your fitness. It focuses on a fresh area and is so rewarding at the finish line. Thanks a mil to my fabulous step daughter who was the driving force behind me doing my first Hyrox. I was a bit nervous being double the age of half of them, but then realised, that if I can, I should!

The training up to any event is always a bit daunting at the start but you find ways to enjoy it as the weeks go by. For me, it was Audible books! Broken up with some pumping tunes for when I needed a bit more motivation.

Mummy Bootcamp seems to attract amazing women who let nothing get in their way of their fitness and wellness goals, and it's been a total joy to witness over the years. A pat on the back all round!

Now to find a nice restaurant for us tonight in Madrid to have a giggle over wine and steak and plan our next event!!

Any Madrid recommendations welcome !

Gald we didn't have decide on whether or not to go out in this for Mummy Bootcamp this morning !

Even if we did. I would have taken in online. My audio piece that I was missing, finally arrived. So I'm good to go for those classes where the weather beats us.

Meanwhile. I'm on my way to do a Hyrox event in Madrid! First time doing this. Been training away in the back ground and loving that pumping feeling ! So I'm off with ,my fabulous step daughter should signed us both up for this! I'll keep you posted!

For those who don't know what Hyrox is, its an event where you run 8km , (1 km x 8) at 1k each time between a lot of pushing and pulling weighted sleds, ball wall. Lunge with weighed, ski and row erg and finish off at the puke station I would imagine! Oh the burppes. I forgot the burpees!!! Which bythe way, keep changing to burgers on the auto correct.

So wish me luck!

I'll report back at classes next week

Enjoy the snow today. X

I had a great idea to get some fresh juices going for the family.. you know' ginger, celery, kale, tumeric, lemons, orange, apple and pomegranate ...

It started so well, very instagramable I thought.... until... I pressed the button, looked away and then realised the bottom of the jug wasn't closed 🙈 it went EVERYWHERE!!!

Who even knew there was such an option on a Kenwood jug!!?? Clearly not me..

Despite the mess, I now have about 3 days worth of these shots for all the family to enjoy:)
