Over the weekend DCU Underwater Hockey teamed up with Dublin Underwater Hockey to take on teams from Limerick, Belfast and UCD in our first national tournament since Covid.
It was great to finally get back in the water and play some good competitive hockey.
Overall the the DCU / Dublin team were winners of the tournament so not a bad start!

DCU teamed up with our friends from UCD to form “Irish Stew” to play in our first international tournament In Koper, Slovenia.
We placed 11th out of 17 teams. Meaning we finished in the 2nd division. Great experience to play against other teams from around Europe.
There was of course diving involved as well. We headed to P**a, Croatia to take in the beautiful scenery location down below 🐠

DCU Underwater hockey continues to grow! Great to have three new members down to give the sport a go.
Afterwards we had to give our sponsors Krispy Kreme Ireland some support and treat our new members!
Hockey is on every Thursday 9pm in the national aquatic centre. Always looking for new members.

DCU had an excellent day at the national aquatic centre. Teaming up with the vikings to take on teams from Dublin, Belfast and Cork. Winning all our games to finish 1st in the tournament. We are now 1st in the national league.
Training takes place every Thursday at 9pm in the national aquatic centre. We are always open to new members. So message the page for more details.
