A huge shout-out to Ava from B Squad, who has been selected to compete with the National Para Swimming Development Squad at the National Junior Para-Swimming Championships in Coventry. This is a fantastic achievement!
Last week, Ava attended a workshop with Ellen Keane, the retired Paralympic champion and icon of Irish sport. This wasn't their first encounter, however—the two go way back! You can see some lovely highlights of their journey together on Ellen’s Instagram page here:

Our Three Boys Represented Leinster in the 2026 Interprovincial Championship meet Last Weekend.
Leinster were Victorious with our Boys representing Very Well.
Glenalbyn have a Great History with this Competition and are always very well represented.

Patrick, Marco, Noor and Issy are off Representing LeinsterSwimming and Glenalbyn at the Wycombe meet this weekend.

Coach Keith, Board Member with the Irish Swim Coaches Association presenting Double Olympian and European Gold Medalist Ellen Walsh and Her Coach Brian Sweeney with their Prizes for Swim of the Day last weekend at the Dave McCullagh International Meet.
Glenalbyn are thrilled to have placed 13th of all the Irish Clubs having qualified 21 swimmers with 16 participating.

The Dave McCullagh Memorial Meet starts tomorrow in the National Aquatic Center. This meet is a precursor for the Irish Open and runs for three days. Our Young team of 16 athletes race in just about every event and we are Massively Proud of each and every one of you. This TEAM has being building for several years and the depth of events that each and every one of our swimmers partakes in is constantly growing.
