Back on the mat for the first time since Ruadh was born 7 weeks ago. Feeling a bit stiff but it's great to be back in down dog 😊

Highlights from 2018.

A whole lot of pregnancy yoga. It's been a year of learning as my yoga has changed along with my body. I've also started training to be a Prenatal Yoga teacher, so this is an extra class I'll be offering in the near future.

Can't wait to get back teaching in the new year. Keep an eye on this page for class updates.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year πŸŽ„β€οΈ

I'm excited for all the learning over the next few months. Come March I'll be adding Prenatal Yoga to the Yoga Wave Dublin class schedule. πŸ“–πŸ™πŸ€°

Goddess pose (Utkata Konasana)

This is one of my favourite yoga poses and is great for :
Opening up the hips, groin and chest
Toning and strengthening the core muscles
Strengthening the quads and inner thigh muscles

*Toes should point out about 45Β° angle and knees should track the direction of the toes.
*Sit deeper into the squat for more intensity
* Try to keep the torso upright and concentrate on lengthening through the spine

Heatwave = sweaty stretching.

My class tonight accidentally turned into hot yoga πŸ”₯
