🌄 Ignite Community Walk – Glendalough Hills
After a couple of years, we’re finally bringing back the Ignite community walks!
On Sunday March 22nd we’ll be heading down to Glendalough to hit the hills for a great morning of fresh air, movement, and good company.
🕖 Meeting at Ignite Health & Fitness and leaving at 7:00am
This walk is open to all members and fitness levels, so whether you're one of our regulars or just want to get out for a walk with a great group of people, you’re very welcome to join us.
These walks were always one of the best ways to bring the Ignite community together, and we’re really looking forward to getting them going again.

Meet Paul who started with us Summer '25 and is close to 2 stone in weight loss 🙏🏻
“I didn’t want to join a gym… and at 48 I honestly thought ‘what’s the point?’
I’d tried gyms before — waiting for machines, people filming TikToks, zero motivation. I’d given up.
Then my wife joined Ignite Fitness. She was getting stronger, feeling better, and honestly… she looked great.
I joined the start of summer 2025 at 114.5kg. Showing up that first day was the hardest part — but the welcome from the coaches and members made me feel instantly at ease.
I kept showing up...I got stronger.
My clothes started fitting better.
Between May and October I lost 7kg, then joined the 10 Week Challenge and lost another 6.1kg — while still enjoying nights out, meals out, Christmas, and life.
In total I’ve lost 13.1kg, over 4 inches off my waist, and gained strength, confidence, and friendships I never expected.
I didn’t start with a goal — I just wanted to feel better. Ignite exceeded every expectation.
My two daughters joined And when we can we train as a family 🙏🏻If you’re thinking about committing to yourself and making real, sustainable change in 2026, I couldn’t recommend Ignite — and especially the 10 Week Challenge — enough.”

We are so proud of Michelle and everything she has achieved so far — 70 lb down(5 stone lost) through consistency, commitment, and showing up even on the hard days. This is an incredible achievement from Michelle and here is what she had to say...
"My first day joining Ignite Fitness was nerve-wrecking and something I’d put off for a long time. I didn’t walk in feeling confident, but I knew something had to change. I wanted to become a fitter, healthier, happier version of myself.
I was immediately put at ease by Seán, who explained everything and told me to go at my own pace. After the class I felt great (okay… that’s a lie, I couldn’t walk for days 😂) but I knew straight away this was the gym for me. The atmosphere, the small classes, and how welcoming everyone was made it an easy decision.
Over the weeks I kept showing up, even on the days I had no motivation. I got fitter, stronger, made amazing friends, and the gym became a place to take care of my body, not punish it. The Christmas Challenge kept me accountable and motivated, and the support from everyone made the journey so much more enjoyable.
The 10-week challenge groups are the best because they keep you accountable on everyone helps push you along the way. I’m still a work in progress, but with consistency and the help of Seán, Jay and Greg, I know I’ll get there. Thank you so much 😊"
