Master Dandy a pioneer of Taekwon-Do in Ireland and one of the founding members of the RITA. Dublin North East are happy to commence training under Covid guidelines in our new venue. We were delighted to welcome Master Dandy to take the first class in Le Cheile. Pictured below Master Dandy after receiving a beautiful award from Waterford Taekwon-Do School.
A big thanks from all at Dublin North East to Grandmaster Barrett, Master Jacob and all our Taekwon-Do family in Waterford for making Master Dandys return to traininga memorable one!

Master Dandy came across a historical picture over the Christmas break:
Late General Choi officially opening RITA Taekwon-Do academy in Jervis Street Dublin in 1979.
Grandmaster Rhee is on right of now Master Dandy, the late Grandmaster Park Jung Tae is left of General Choi. Now Grandmaster Phelan was on extreme left (not visible in photo)
Master Dandy was responsible for beginners classes and Grandmaster Howard was responsible for senior classes.

A big Thank you to Master Howard for hosting and welcoming our Tigers to take part in Grandmaster Howard's Fun Challenge today.
It is a great opportunity for our Tigers to gain experience and confidence.
Congratulations to everyone who took part today. It takes great courage to get onto the mats. Looking forward to hearing all the stories in class on Tuesday.
