Please don't think because I am a PT that it's easy.. I also have to push myself on a daily basis. It's lonely sometimes having to train yourself, but I have to push through and get it done! I am always glad I did!

Habits are so important. They don't have to be huge all or nothing Habits.
Small daily changes will have a huge impact on your health. For example:
💧drink a little more water daily
🥕add more veg & fruit to your diet daily
😴get 7/8 hours sleep nightly
🥩eat at least 100g protein daily
🚶♂️increase your daily activity
🧠focus on your mental health
Some of these changes may seem obvious but if you can make these small changes daily they will have a huge impact on your health & lifestyle overtime.
Trust the process and make these changes today!

Staying positive and motivation just aren't always there unfortunately.
However choice is!
We can choose to flip our thoughts and we can choose to do the hard things that we know are good for us even on the days we don't feel like it.
I know this is easier said than done, but if you can push through the negative thoughts, change them to positive ones, move your body in a way you will feel good and eventually it becomes habit and you will end up not giving up on the positivity and motivation to do good things for yourself!

Sometimes I don't want to post me training, especially when I'm away. I feel it may upset some people who don't train and lead people to think I am a Saint or my insecurities lead me to think people will judge me, 'can she not just go away and relax!'.
But I just want to share, I train for my mental health, my muscle mass and mobility. This morning I did 20 minutes full body kettle bells and 4 minutes of tabata skipping. I am thrilled I did those 24 minutes, I feel so much better for it.
If you can move your body today, whatever that looks like for you. Don't train to lose weight, train to keep your amazing body in shape for your over all wellbeing!
Now I am off to spend some time with my family on this holiday I am so grateful for!!

Remember all those goals you set at the start of the year?

Today, September 22nd the countdown begins: it’s day number 1 of the last 100 days of the year (I can hear a few gasps).
But don't gasp, let's set an intention today, write it down, and let's get stuck into the last 100 days of 2022 and make it happen whatever that goal is!
Going into 2023 you will feel amazing!

You might think why is there a picture of a bed on a fitness page! Hopefully after reading this post you will understand how important our morning habits are and making our bed can set us up nicely!
By tackling this 1st task of the day it can set us up to keep tackling tasks throughout the day, like getting a workout done or making a healthy meal.
A made bed can help our state of mind, if you can do the little things right you can do the big things right!
Start today, make your bed and see if it helps you make better choices throughout the day!

Over indulge this weekend, don't stress over it. You haven't undone all your hard work or gained numerous pounds. Today is a new day, the start of a new week. Set a small goal today, smash it and this will set you up for a great week of accomplishments. Think of something small like eating more fruit or drinking more water.
