Best of luck to Kosi Okpe from our 2024 Kennedy Cup squad, who will be travelling as a member of the Schoolboys/girls Football Association of Ireland team competing in the Associations Cup in Blackpool on the 22nd & 23rd of June.

An amazing opportunity for players to not only play in their local club, but get a chance to play in the prestigious Kennedy Cup and travel abroad as part of a grassroots international team 👏

Hard luck to the U14s after losing 2-1 to Kerry in the Kennedy Cup Shield Final. Kerry came flying out of the blocks and grabbed 2 quick goals, but the lads continued to fight back and grabbed a goal courtesy of Tyrrelstown FC player, Leon Sharpe, with less than 15 minutes to go. Unfortunately the lads weren't able to equalise after a flurry of chances.

The players were a credit to themselves and the league with their performances throughout the week and were unlucky to not come away with silverware, but enjoyed a trip to Supermac's on the way home after a long week in Limerick.

Well done to the lads on a win in their Kennedy Cup Shield Semi-final over a tough Roscommon side. After finishing 0-0 at full-time, the match went to penalties, where Ratoath Harps Football Club Goalkeeper James Pullen made 2 saves and Rush Athletic Football Club player Oisin Hegarty scored the winning goal 👏💪

Tomorrow the lads play in the Shield final at 11am on pitch 1 versus Kerry, with the match being Livestreamed on SFAITV on YouTube

On Day 2, the lads came flying out of the blocks with a superb 9-1 win against WWEC, but unfortunately lost 3-0 against a very strong West Cork side in the afternoon.

The lads now go again at 4pm today against Wicklow in the Shield Quarter Final

Unfortunately it wasn't to be for our Kennedy Cup squad today as they fell to a 2-1 defeat to Mayo after leading 1-0 at half-time
