The Royal Irish Yacht Club is one of Ireland's leading private members’ sailing clubs, with some 1400 members. Founded in 1831, the clubhouse is the first purpose-built yacht club in the world. The Club regularly hosts major world, European and national championships, offering outstanding sailing and clubhouse facilities to members and their guests as well as visiting sailors. The Club was awarded 'Sailing Club of the Year 2016'.

Royal Irish Yacht Club’s 195th Anniversary Classic Boats Regatta
Early Bird discount of 10% on the entry price!
The RIYC Classic Boats Regatta will be held on 20th to 21st June and kicks off the RIYC’s 195th Anniversary Celebrations week. Entries are open now to Classic boats such as Classic Cruisers, Dublin Bay 21’s, Howth 17’s, Glens, Mermaids,
Water Wags & Classic Dinghies. For the next 9 days, until 29th May, there will be an early-bird price, so don’t delay your entry.
The Classic Regatta is a unique and prestigious event that will bring together some of Ireland’s most beautiful and historic sailing yachts. In addition to racing, the programme will include a Parade of Sail through Dalkey Sound, Concours d’Elegance & D’ Authenticité at East Pier Roundhead, as well as an Open Yachts pontoon party.
