Termin8rs: Major Cup Winners

It was a long wait for this team to get hands on the trophy. 4 tournaments later, they are the champions again. For the first time in the history of VRT Indoor Cricket has a team won all of its 8 games. The invincible champions of 2022.

Having qualified for the finals directly courtesy finishing top of the table, they had a stiff competition against Terrific Hitter. Having put to field, Termin8rs did not have the best start to the finals, leaking 54 runs in the first 4 overs. However they pulled it back nicely only to concede 14 in the next 12. In nail biting contest Termin8rs emerged victorious by chasing down the target in the last over of the innings.

EY Legends: Minor Cup Winners

No one would have given themselves a chance to qualify for the knockouts after the start they had to the tournament. But the team led by believed in themselves and did out of the extraordinary. They won 2 out of the last 3 games, which meant they beat the odds and qualified for the Minor cups. With an inspirational unit playing together for the first time had their head held high and meant business on the final day. They beat the Indigo Spartans in the qualifiers and then the mighty Sher-e-Punjab in the finals. With 23 needed in the last over of the final, EY legends held their nerves and crossed over the line rather comfortably.

Terrific Hitters: The Major Cup Runner-ups.

They displayed great character and fought back so exceedingly well over the entire tournament. So strong was the team that all the major individual awards were shared among the players from this team. Producing one of the finest bowling performances in the Finals and almost defending a miser total of 68, talks a lot about the character the boys had on display. Winning the monitor cup last year only to better it this time with Major Cup Runner-ups trophy is tremendous achievement
