Thanks a million to 1escape health club and The Kings Inn Pub for their hugely generous sponsorship this year. Exam time is kicking in now, but hopefully we will have one or two more fixtures before the end of college year. A few things in the pipeline including a King's Inns Rugby tour to Munster.

And the celebrations / drowning of sorrows begins...

Could anyone who still has a jersey from Friday night return it (preferably in a plastic bag) to either Ben or Eoin. We want to ensure we have the full kit back for the next fixture.

Congrats to the Bar Council, Dennis Halton's golden boot caused us us serious mischief! Bring on the Solicitors on Fri 22nd Feb.

Lansdowne have moved our KO to 6:30 sharp, this was the best we could do unfortunately as there is another match starting straight after ours.

I have set up a Teamer Account for this years squad, If you are yet to recieve a text! please send me a message with your mobile and I will add you to the update list! We have some live opposition organised for next Wednesday evening so its is important to make the effort and come down this week or at the very latest next monday! If anyone from the Dip or Mod classes would like to get involved please be sure to get in touch!

Any King's Inns students looking to shape up in the new year should drop in to our sponsors 1escape health club. They'll also be at the Bar Council and Blackhall matches with information and and a seriously amazing raffle prize. Everyone knows the secret to a great bail application is good core strength!

Great launch to the season with our first run out this evening, good to see some of our prize players stretching their rugby muscles on the very paddock where we will once again defend the Mr Justice Diarmuid O'Donovan Memorial Cup.

N.B. - The first proper training session is on Wed 2nd Jan. We want to see everyone out for that as we have a tight run in to the match and very little time to prepare. We hope to have a warm up game booked for the following week.

Training will be this evening at 6pm in Old Belvedere Rugby Club in Donnybrook.
If you will be delayed by work or whatever that's no problem just get there when you can. It will be really light tonight, just meeting up and throwing a ball around. Mainly it's just important we get going and get a sense of numbers etc.

Right lads the new kits are sorted & the new page is setup, so all the important stuff is clearly done... however, as we're getting close to the first of the matches myself and Eoin felt it might be wise to get a spot of training underway. The first of these will take place this Tuesday evening. We are currently confirming the venue and time, but details will be posted here by the end of the weekend. It would be great if all those interested in playing could make it out to the first of the training sessions as we'd like to have a good impression of the numbers we are working with. For the first session especially we really won't be doing anything to strenuous, so all that are interested should head out.
