Fight Club instructors just completed their Child Welfare and Protection Course today to complete the trifacta. All instructors are now Garda Vetted, First Aid certified and have Child Protection awareness.

Councillor Paddy Bourke, Chairman of the Dublin Regional Authority will be guest of Honour at the “Night of the Knockouts” Ladies Full Contact Kickboxing Show on 4th February 2012. Councillor Bourke has been an avid fan of Barbara over the years, taking interest in her career from the early days, when she won her first Irish Title. Now the councillor has become one of Barbara’s sponsors, wishing her well for her World Title fight.

Tickets are now on sale for "Night of the Knockouts" on 4th February, where you can catch Barbara fighting for her 4th World Title, Leona O'Shea will take on Charlene Creaney for a 5 Nations Title. You can also catch Alex Ward fighting for a title along with Jenny Molloy and Jodie Doran. For tickets contact Ken, Colm, Tina or Barbara.....

We are doing an all girls full contact show (Night of the Knockouts) on the 4Th February in Dublin, if you are interested can you please send me in your fighters names ,weights , experience etc . We will be matching Juniors and Seniors.

Anybody with with a girl you just cant get matched , too light too heavy ? send me there weight and ill do my best to get a fight. We're trying to match my Alex (+70KG) at the moment so if you think you have a girl give us a ring.

Top of the bill will feature The One Barbara Delaney fighting for her third world title, supporting fights will be 3 title fights and the cream of Irish female fighters, so if you have , or know of any girls that might have what it takes please get in touch.

Goes to show how immature and unprofessional some can be in the kickboxing industry, me due to fight last saturday and reaching a weight in which I was givin to be at, I hit my weight bang on! Bu stupidly a man so called peter folley sent me out the wrong weight! Therefore me been heavy for a fight at 78.2 bu was told 79.5 , I even went out runnin the next day to try meet the weight, even tho it w...as not my fault at all that I was heavier, he took so responsbliitie! And wouldn't settle for any other arrangments! So he decides to bad mouth me and yet doesn't explain the whole siuation at all!. Bu this has made me even stronger as a fighter and gave me the motavation too fight even better! So peter ya may have wanted to see me fall bu I've jus risen higher! All I can say to you is grow up!!

This is Barbara's opponent for the -48kg Double World Title in February.
Ana Roxo, a 20+ fight veteran is the Portuguese and WKA Thai Boxing European Champion. She is also in the top ten WKA Full Contact rankings.
This Pro-Am Full Contact fight will be fought over 8 rounds and will be the main attraction in the all girl event.

Sad news on Alex's Title fight. The fight had to be pulled. The two fighters made the weight, but unfortunately the organisation had given us the wrong weight. So although Alex had weighed in at under what we thought was the required weight, the promoter informed us that she was overweight and the fight couldn't go ahead. But don't worry fight fans, she will be still fighting on "Night of the Knockouts" in February at her regular weight.
