It was amazing to have a bunch of my current clients join me and my Girlfriend Laoise for a beautiful 2.5 hour hike up Ticknock in the Dublin Mountains last Sunday.
We were really lucky because the weather was just perfect. ๐๐ด๐
This was our first hike of 2024 after we had a hike around Howth Head and a sea dip in Killiney last year.
I'm planning to do more hikes like this because as I get older I realise that it's hard to meet people who are like minded.
Most social things to do in Ireland unfortunately tend to revolve around alcohol.
But with our hikes, we can all get together, enjoy the outdoors, have some good food, and not worry about a hangover the next day.
I'm looking forward to organising the next one and can't wait to see everyone again hopefully.

Since October 2023, I have been running a monthly steps challenge with all of our clients.
I have been donating to the charities of anyone who places in the top 3 of the challenge each month.
My goal has always been to be able to help our clients get the best results possible, but to also give back in some way, shape or form, to amazing charities.
It's really important to me as I have lost loved ones to cancer & strokes, so these are causes that are really close to my heart.
Nneka was understandably very skeptical at first but after we started working together and seen results her opinion changed.

We Adopted โค๏ธ๐ฅฐ
Over the past few months, my girlfriend Laoise and I have been on a journey to adopt a cat, and Iโm thrilled to announce that we have finally found one.
Her name is Luna and she is 2.5 years old.
โ
After searching through numerous shelters on social media and applying to adopt a couple of other cats with no luck, we were beginning to feel a bit disheartened.
โ
However, one night we were watching Apple TV and Laoise was browsing through Facebook, she came across a post featuring Luna.
โ
We knew straight away she was our ideal cat.
โ
The crazy thing is she was being cared for at a veterinary clinic literally 100 meters walk from our house.
โ
We immediately reached out to the clinic and arranged a meeting for the following day.
Lunaโs story was a little bit sadโher previous owners unfortunately had to move from their home and couldnโt keep her.
โ
As a result, she had been stuck in the vetโs clinic for a whole month in a cage.
โ
We were absolutely delighted to be able to give her a home where she can roam freely, get lots of rubs and love, and have as much space as she needs to live her best life.
โ
It's been amazing having her here as I work from home every day.
โ
She's been great company sitting on my lap some days while I'm on the computer.
โ
We both definitely feel less stressed and happier overall with her here.
โ

I hope you had an amazing time off. I sure did!

I took a week off from everything - no social media, no emails, no Instagram, no LinkedIn - just completely unplugged. It was amazing!

I spent quality time with my girlfriend and our families.

We had a couple of nights out with friends in Dublin.

It was so refreshing, I really needed it after a crazy busy year.

Now that I'm back, I've been doing some goal setting for 2024.

I use this simple framework called the 5Fs: fitness, finance, fun, future, and family.

Me and my girlfriend wrote all our goals down for the year, and it's been so motivating.
โ
I've been encouraging my clients to do the same thing, and it's been great to see them getting excited about their plans for the year ahead.

November was a super busy month!
I never got around to congratulating Helena on winning our monthly steps challenge for October with an unbelievable 534k steps. ๐
