Back to school 👩‍🏫

This is my final year of training to become a dietitian, and it’s going to be an intense one, diving deep into pathophysiology (illnesses) and the dietetic treatments that go with them.

You might also spot me behind the desk at Yoga Dublin, which has felt like a second home ever since my YTT in 2023.

Since I won’t have time to create content - and definitely no time to scroll, I’ll be taking a break from Instagram.

I’m especially grateful for this past weekend at the .ie creative retreat surrounded by beautiful souls in a stunning location. Putting my phone away and simply creating was exactly what I needed. It reassured me that stepping back this year to focus on what truly matters is the right choice.

See you in class, on the mat, at reception, for coffee, or on a walk… just not here 🤭

When I say I eat oats every morning, I mean it... 🍰🍰🍰

Oats are so nutritious, tasty, versatile, cheap, and easy to prep or buy on-the-go... It genuinely makes me sad they’ve gotten such a bad rep. Glucose Goddess I see you 😠

They’ve been shown time and time again to support heart and gut health!

Save these four easy recipes. 🥰 I prep baked oats every 3-4 nights to always have breakfast ready in the morning. Enjoy!

(Also: not me having a 177-photo "Oats" album on my phone 🤭)

Last weekend, I taught a very special yoga class 🥰

32 family members gathered to celebrate my mom’s 60th in a beautiful cottage in the French countryside.

Some opted for rosé and pétanque, while others joined me for a yoga session 🧘‍♀️

It was such a joy to share this with them. Teaching in French always feels a bit strange since I did my YTT in Dublin, but it was so lovely to see them enjoy yoga (I think they did?)

Special shoutout to my youngest-ever yogi: 9 years old! 👧

🥊 Protein guide: Annex

Here are some examples of plant-based protein foods.

Hope you can visualise better what it means if you’re aiming for 25g of protein per meal, for example.

To learn more about protein and how much you really need, check out the previous posts (Part 1 & 2).

Take care,
Pam x

🥊 Protein guide: Part 2

Hope you enjoy this second part! Feel free to comment with any thoughts or questions.

I’ve made a separate post with examples of protein sources, so you can save it and refer back to it whenever you need 😊 Sharing it later today!
