This will be the first September in 7 years I won't be starting back with the classes in the Teeling centre. This is where I first started running regular classes and to say I have been well supported is a massive understatement. The Monday at 7 pm and Wednesday at 8 pm sessions paved the way for me to continue my education and supported me from Certificate level right up to completing my Masters last year. I will be forever indebted to those who attended over the years, especially those who became regulars, and who I now count on as friends. Many thanks goes to Johnny Banks also who has been keeping the show on the road in the Teeling centre all this time and treated me very well throughout. I hope some of you might make the trip to Rathcormack in the future.

Unfortunately Sligo LGFA came out 2nd best today versus a decent Tyrone team. It has honestly been a pleasure to be involved with this group this year and I have no doubt they will learn from this and come back even stronger. I believe beyond all doubt that this group has it in them.

Sports injuries can often be attributed to being under prepared or under recovered.
Training should still be undertaken during your 'off season' .
