⚽️ TERENURE RANGERS APPOINT WAYNE ASHBROOK AS HEAD OF COACHING – UNDERAGE GIRLS 🟡🔵

Terenure Rangers FC is delighted to announce the appointment of Wayne Ashbrook as Head of Coaching for our Underage Girls section.

A UEFA A Licence coach, Wayne brings considerable experience in the development of young players within the elite women’s game.

Having previously held the position of Director of Football at Peamount United, Wayne went on to become Head Coach of the Shamrock Rovers Women’s U19 League of Ireland Academy team.

During his time at Rovers, Wayne led the U19s to the 2023 National League title with an unbeaten league campaign, while playing an important role in an academy structure which has seen young players progress into senior League of Ireland football.

At Terenure Rangers, Wayne will work across our underage girls teams, supporting our existing coaches, observing and leading training sessions, attending matches and helping us to develop a clear and consistent coaching and player-development pathway throughout the section.

The appointment is another important step in the continued development of girls’ football at Terenure Rangers.

Our aim is not simply to grow the number of girls playing football at the club, but to provide the best possible coaching environment for every player – whatever level she plays at – and a pathway that allows ambitious players to develop as far as their ability can take them.

We are delighted to have someone of Wayne’s experience and coaching pedigree joining the club and look forward to seeing him working with our players and coaches throughout the season.
