3C's Twirlers open for fun, fitness and friends! Competitive and recreational classes age 4yrs & over

Our story started 52 years ago, as The Lower Crumlin Community Club, which is where the three "C's" come from. Since then the club has built and evolved recreationally and competitively at both national and international events. Several generations of families have come through our doors, some of our original members now even have children or grandchildren in the club today.

Moss is often dismissed as just another sign of neglect, but this small, green plant plays a vital role in our ecosystems. Known as living climate tech, moss grows without soil and can thrive in urban environments. Its ability to cool cities through moisture release and filter pollution makes it an unsung hero in our fight against climate change.

What many overlook is how moss acts as a carbon capture tool. Some species of moss absorb and store carbon as effectively as young forests, making it a critical ally in reducing greenhouse gases. Despite its humble appearance, moss works tirelessly behind the scenes to improve the health of our environment, contributing to a cleaner, healthier planet.

By recognizing the importance of moss, we can start to appreciate the often-overlooked elements of nature that help sustain life on Earth. While we tend to focus on the bigger, flashier solutions, sometimes the answers are right under our nosesβ€”quietly and consistently doing their part. πŸŒ±πŸ’š

Reminder to landowners and occupiers that nesting season is fast approaching.

From 1st March to 31st August, there are restrictions on cutting hedges and clearing vegetation, in order to protect nesting birds.

It is the responsibility of the landowner to ensure that roadside vegetation is maintained and does not cause a hazard to road users.
