Happy International Pilates Day
Created by Joseph Pilates, a man truly ahead of his time, Pilates was never just about exercise - it was about how we live in our bodies every day.
When we integrate Pilates into daily life - how we sit, stand, breathe, move - we build strength, improve alignment, and support better overall function. With that we can live a more fulfilled life, with ease.
Small habits, create big changes. Add a little more of the Pilates method into your life and you will feel the difference 💙
Move with awareness. Breathe with intention.
Because what we don’t use… we lose.

With colder weather and the heating on, it’s easy to become dehydrated.
And hydration plays a big role in our focus, concentration, joint health, energy levels and overall wellbeing.
The good news?
You don’t need to overhaul everything.
Small, simple habits — done consistently — can make a real difference.
Here are a few simple ways to stay hydrated this season 💙

💚 World Mental Health Day 💚
A gentle reminder today:
Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others. You never know what journey someone is on. 🌿
6 Ways to Support Your Mental Wellbeing Today;
1. 📞 Call a friend + meet for a walk – connection and movement lift your mood.
2. 🌿 Step outside into nature – even 10 minutes of fresh air can reset your mind.
3. 🤗 Give a hug – to someone you love, your pet, or yourself – it boosts happy hormones.
4. 🧘♀️ Pause + breathe – slow, lateral breaths calm your nervous system.
5. 📔 Write it down – journaling helps clear and organise your thoughts.
6. 🌸 Practice gratitude – note 3 things you’re thankful for today.
💛 Small, simple steps make the biggest difference.

The glide is real.
Hydrating first thing isn’t just about thirst —
it preps your fascia, your focus, and your flow.
Especially when you add:
🍋 Lemon — liver love + gentle cleanse
🧂 Pink salt — mineral support + absorption
🌿 Ginger — digestion + circulation boost
So before coffee, before emails…
hydrate your tissue.
Your fascia glides. Your brain wakes up.
You move with more ease — and it feels good.
⭐️ TIP - to make this morning habit easier and part of your daily routine, prep an ice cube tray with a squeeze of lemon, slice of ginger and a pinch of salt. Top up with water and pop in the freezer so it’s ready to go!
No mess, no fuss, no excuse!
Best of all, if adding this to hot water, the ice cube cools it down so it’s ready to drink 👌

🌴 Holiday habits + post-holiday reset 🌊
When I’m away, it can be tricky to keep my usual routines going — but a few small habits help me feel my best while still enjoying the break:
✨ On holiday, I…
1️⃣ Move my body daily — whether it’s Pilates, swim, walk, run, or a few stretches by the pool. Movement keeps me energised and clears my mind.
2️⃣ Pack my essential supplements so I am on it! My travel , R&R & Skin Hair Nails and .life electrolytes are a must👌
3️⃣ Stay hydrated — I keep water close by and load up on water-rich fruits like juicy watermelon 🍉.
4️⃣ Pop on a guided meditation, feel-good playlist, or podcast to switch off and recharge.
5️⃣ Schedule an online food shop for my return (love that can do same-day delivery too 🙌).
✨ After the holiday, I…
1️⃣ Do a workout asap — it’s tough but 100% worth it and gets you back on track … plus sweats out 🥂😜.
2️⃣ Charge up my Apple Watch so I’m ready for those daily step goals again. Having my steps recorded on my watch helps me meet my 10k steps a day!
3️⃣ Prep healthy meals + snacks — this helps me eat well and get my 30-a-week plant-based foods in.
4️⃣ Write a to-do list — coming home to suitcases, laundry, work and life can be overwhelming. Getting it on paper clears my head and helps me make a plan.
5️⃣ Reset my sleep routine — after late nights on holiday, I wind down an hour before bed, turn off devices, clear bedroom clutter, and prepare for a deep, restful sleep 💤.
Small steps = big difference. 🩵
What’s one thing you always do to stay on track during or after a holiday?
